DFS Guards to Consider
James Harden – PG,SG @ IND ($11,900 DK, $11,800 FD) Ok, do we really need to explain this one? With only four games on Sunday’s slate, there will be a lot of lineups built around James Harden and with good reason. Harden has been nuts this season, averaging 30 points, 10 assists and five boards per contest. In addition, he’s shooting 40 percent from deep on a team that loves to put up three-pointers. It doesn’t matter that Indiana is giving up only 108 points per game on average, Harden will make everyone that he competes against look like a fool.
Russell Westbrook – PG, vs. DAL ($11,000 DK, $10,800 FD) While we're at it, Russell Westbrook is also another no-brainer for Sunday. No, he is not the scoring machine that he was last season; especially with Carmelo Anthony and Paul George in town, but he’s still pretty freakin’ good. Expect a good performance from him against a crappy Dallas team that is third-worst in the league in fantasy points per game to opposing point guards. Get him in your lineup!
Victor Oladipo – SG, vs. HOU ($7,700 DK, $7,600 FD) If you thought Victor Oladipo’s song featuring 2 Chainz was lit, his play is even more “off the chain.” Oladipo has really found himself since arriving in Indiana and is the number one scoring option on a team with not much else going on from an offensive standpoint. If you haven’t had a chance to watch him play this season, you should. Also, if haven’t listened to “Rope A Dope,” you should do that also, even though I have no clue what that title means, nor do I care to know.
Other DFS Guards to Consider: Terry Rozier, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Shane Larkin, Darren Collison, DeMar DeRozan.
DFS Forwards to Consider
Jayson Tatum SF, vs. TOR ($6,300DK, $5,300 FD) With Kyrie Irving out and potentially Al Horford on Sunday, it could open the door for more production out of others, including Jayson Tatum. Averaging 14 points and nearly six boards on the season, that number could easily rise now that extra minutes and shots will be up for grabs with the aforementioned absences against Toronto. With such a low asking price, he could easily hit the magic mark of 5x value.
Ryan Anderson @ IND ($4,400 DK, $4,400 FD) With Indiana giving up a little over four three-pointers per contest, Ryan Anderson has the chance to put up some good numbers. He is shooting 37 percent from deep which should translate well from a fantasy standpoint on Sunday.
Other DFS Forwards to Consider: Trevor Ariza, Tobias Harris.
DFS Centers to Consider
Aron Baynes – C, vs. TOR ($4,500 DK, $4,800 FD) If Al Horford is out again on Sunday, Aaron Baynes will draw the start. Baynes has been playing relatively well this season but will see a bump in production if Horford can’t go as a result of a concussion. Baynes only had four points against Charlotte on Friday but supplemented his poor scoring numbers by grabbing seven boards and dishing out two assists. He was also a monster defensively, recording three blocks and a steal to finish out the night. Not a bad way to go considering his asking price but make sure you check Horford's status prior to tip-off.
Dakari Johnson – C, vs. DAL ($3,400 DK, $3,700 FD) As much as I hate to see anyone injured, Steven Adams potentially missing even more time on Sunday as a result of a calf injury could open the door for a nice value opportunity in Dakari Johnson. Johnson drew the start against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night and played 23 minutes. He finished the night with nine points, two assists, one steal and one block which is not bad if you are limited for cap space on Sunday.
Other DFS Centers to Consider: Clint Capela, Andre Drummond
