There are only four games on the slate this Saturday and truth be told, it's going to be a fairly "generic" night. The Warriors-Nuggets game is the only one lined up to be a high scoring affair, while the Pelicans and Timberwolves should both cruise to wins. Pistons-Kings will be the game to watch because there is so much potential in both rotations. The Pistons are playing well and the Kings have been consistently competitive. Andre Drummond should have his work cut our for him, but he'll need Avery Bradley to continue his strong shooting. Both are great options tonight, but we are going to dive into the abyss like usual.
Finding those minimally owned players can turned your grey nights into neon green celebrations. There will be limited options tonight but that just means you need to find more consistency in the mid-range players. Instead of going to either extreme, buying-up or super-value plays, sticking to options in the 6K-7K will be a great strategy.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 11/04/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings and FanDuel. Make sure to find me in the NBA chat room everyday if you have further questions, let's get rolling.
DFS Guards to Consider
Devin Harris - PG, DAL @ MIN (DK - $3,500, FD - $3,900)
Although the Mavericks have only won one game this year, it's not like they are completely DFS irrelevant. Devin Harris has been a bright spot off the bench who contributes but has been limited by the Mavericks lack of competitive games. Dennis Smith Jr. is way to young to be given a starters workload every night, meaning Harris will be getting minutes and opportunities to produce. His price is extremely low and he has great upside against the Pelicans backcourt.
Justin Holiday - SG, NO @ CHI (DK - $5,900, FD - $5,600)
What makes this pick so good is his versatility in the SG position. Picking SG's on DraftKings and FanDuel is treacherous and when you can find that one player that is guaranteed for points and rebounds, you need to jump at that opportunity. Holiday's length helps with this matchup and makes him in the tier of player that is basically matchup proof. If Holiday is hitting, it doesn't matter who you stick in front of him. The Bulls consistency are his biggest problem, but since the Pelicans are coming off a game last night, he should be ready to go.
DFS Forwards to Consider
Will Barton - SG/SF, GS @ DEN (DK - $5,500, FD - $5,200)
The Nuggets are one of the few offenses that can run with the Warriors, although its their defense that is the biggest problem. Will Barton is the best scorer on this team and he will be the biggest source of offense tonight. Jokic will have his hands full if he matches up with Draymond Green, meaning the Nuggets will have to work from the outside in. Luckily this is their strong suit. If the Nuggets can start hitting from the outside quickly, meaning if Barton starts scoring quickly, the Nuggets have a chance. Even if the game is over by the second half, Barton has a history of scoring against the Warriors and that shouldn't change.
Taj Gibson - PF/C, DAL @ MIN (DK - $4,200, FD - $4,700)
This one is too easy. First off, Robin Lopez will be busy in the paint and the Timberwolves backcourt is going to stretch him to his limits. So basically, Lopez is going to need help on the Timberwolves secondary scorer, which the Bulls do not have. Gibson is a spacing machine and while he is most effective in spurts, he is the type of fundamentally sound player that the Bulls will struggle to contain. The pace of both teams are going to clash but the Timberwolves should win, meaning Gibson will be able to do his part and turn himself into one of the lower-owned value plays.
DFS Centers to Consider
Draymond Green - C, GS @ DEN (DK - $7,200, FD - $7,600)
Draymond Green has had the funniest statlines. No points but filling the sheet everywhere else. I don't know about you, but I am totally ok with that especially given is price, even moreso against the Denver defense. The Warriors should be firing on all offensive cylinders tonight and it is going to be a shootout. Not in a sense that it will be a close game, but more that both teams are going to be hoisting up threes like only they know how. Draymond might not partake in the Warriors bombardment, but you know he's going to be good for the Draymond-double-double.
