Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (10/29/17): NBA DFS Advice For FanDuel, DraftKings

Dennis Clausen's top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 10/29/17. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for FanDuel and DraftKings.

We have a huge sports day on tap. If you aren't feeling today's NFL games or are looking for a break, the NBA has a nice slate of matchups to fulfill your daily fantasy desires.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 10/29/17.

The DFS lineup picks featured in this article will mostly bypass the obvious choices and focus more on value plays.

Let's not waste any time and jump right in!

DFS Guards to Consider

Jarrett Jack – PG, @ CLE ($4,000 FD, $4,100 DK) Jarrett Jack found himself starting on Friday night against Brooklyn, replacing Ramon Sessions who did not play. In 25 minutes of action, Jack had eight points, seven boards and five assists. Though he will likely split time with Frank Ntilikina and Ron Baker, he still could easily surpass his value, especially if Baker sits out like he did a few nights ago.

Frank Ntilikina – PG, @ CLE ($3,900 FD, 3,400 DK) After sitting out a few games due to an ankle injury, rookie point guard Frank Ntilikina returned against Brooklyn, scoring nine points and dishing out five assists across 22 minutes of action. It appears as if the Knicks are working him into the mix and he will likely see his court-time expand as the season progresses. Though he is reasonably priced in FanDuel, his price in DraftKings is much more appealing.

Emmanuel Mudiay – PG, @ BKN ($3,600 FD, $4,400 DK) With the Nets and Nuggets being the potentially highest-scoring game on the Sunday slate, we have the potential to see a lot of players surpass their value. Though Emmanuel Mudiay has been inconsistent this season, he has a favorable matchup against a Brooklyn team that isn’t the best defensive unit on the planet. The minutes are there and if you are in a pinch, he could be your guy at a bargain price.

Jodie Meeks – SG, @ SAC ($3,400 FD, $3,300 DK) After a wrestling match on Friday night with between Bradley Beal and Draymond Green, both men found themselves ejected before the second half. Jodie Meeks emerged as the main benefactor from Beal’s ejection, scoring 10 points over 27 minutes. Meeks could be a cheap option with the potential to accumulate fantasy points well beyond his value but is only worth a spot in your lineup if Beal finds himself suspended.

DFS Forwards to Consider

Jonathon Simmons – SF, @ CHA ($4,200 FD, $4,000 DK) With starting small forward Terrence Ross officially classified as a fantasy dud as of right now, Jonathon Simmons has been far from it. Simmons was showing potential while he was in San Antonio but has turned it on even more since arriving in Orlando, averaging 14 points per game, which is more than double of what his average was from last season. I’m a big Simmons fan and you should be too.

Andre Iguodala – SF, vs. DET ($4,200 FD, $4,000 DK) This option is only appealing if Draymond Green sits after his tussle with Bradley Beal. Though Andre Iguodala's minutes remained virtually unchanged from previous games after Green headed to the locker room, he will have the chance to see more production if the all-star forward doesn’t play.

Doug McDermott – SF, @ CLE ($3,400 FD, $3,500 DK) Doug McDermott has played well for the Knicks off the bench this season. “Dougie McBuckets” is averaging nearly seven points, three rebounds and two assists per game. Though those numbers aren’t spectacular, he could have better production in what should be a high-scoring affair against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday. At those prices, you can’t really go wrong.

DFS Centers to Consider

Dwight Howard – C, vs. ORL ($8,000 FD, $7,700 DK) I don’t know what’s in the water in Charlotte but whatever it is, it has been working for Dwight Howard. The veteran has been on a rampage on the glass this season, averaging 17 boards per game. Orlando has been struggling in that department which could easily translate into fantasy success for Howard on Sunday.

Mason Plumlee – C, @ BKN ($4,200 FD, $3,800 DK) Often Overshadowed by Nikola Jokic, Mason Plumlee is no slouch. After putting a hurting on Atlanta a few nights ago that saw him block three shots, he also held his own against the Hornets by acquiring a double-double. Plumlee could have a big game in a contest that will likely be the highest-scoring game of the day.
