The MLB season is filled with ups and downs, but the key to success is to find some gems to stream! Today we're going to target some Cubs and Blue Jays in a couple of favorable matchups!
When choosing my daily hitter streamers, I examine their platoon splits, lineup position, and pitching matchup. With pitchers, I account for the opposing lineup, team ballpark, and recent performance to help make my decision.
Each of my streamers will be rostered in between 0-40% of Yahoo leagues, with a mixed focus on both shallow and deeper formats. Today, I will be providing a streamer for each position, including two starting pitchers. Let’s take a look at the Tuesday slate and dig out some streamer gems to help you start off the week with a bang!

Hitter Streamers for 8/25 - Infielders
Nick Solak (2B/3B/OF, LHB) - 38% Rostered
Matchup: vs. OAK LHP Sean Manaea
Solak has a good matchup against a struggling Manaea, who hasn't been able to miss many bats this season, as his swinging-strike rate has declined from 11.9% to 9.0%. Manaea has also had issues with the long-ball, posting a 1.42 HR/9. Solak mashed lefties last season, posting a .319/.418/.660 against them.
Brad Miller (2B/3B/OF, LHB) - 14% Rostered
Matchup: vs. KC RHP Matt Harvey
Miller is swinging a hot bat of late, going 9-for-23 (.391) with six runs, two home runs, nine RBI, and eight walks in his last eight games. He has a good matchup against Harvey, who hasn't been a competent starter since 2018. Harvey got shelled for three runs and two home runs in three innings in his last start.
Jurickson Profar (2B/OF, SHB) - 6% Rostered
Matchup: vs. SEA LHP Marco Gonzales
Profar is always in play as a streamer because of the stacked Padres lineup. He takes on lefty Marco Gonzales, who has pitched well but is nothing to fear here. Profar has slashed .269/.345/.500 with two home runs against southpaws this season. I don't trust Gonzales to keep it up, so I think that this is a good spot for Profar.
Evan White (1B, SEA, RHB) - 4% Rostered
Matchup: @ SEA RHP Chris Paddack
White is another hot hitter, slugging four home runs and 10 RBI in his last seven games. He has a tough matchup against Paddack, but the silver lining is that the Padres' sophomore has given up some hard contact this year, with a 44.7% hard-hit rate, an increase from 32.5% from last year. Stream the young power hitter here.
Hitter Streamers for 8/25 - Outfielders
Gregory Polanco (OF, PIT, LHB) - 12% Rostered
Matchup: at CHW RHP Lucas Giolito
Polanco has really turned it on of late, going 5-for-10 (.500) with three runs, two home runs, five RBI, and two stolen bases in his last three games. He has a tough matchup against Giolito, but this type of power-speed profile is too enticing to pass up as a streaming recommendation.
Jason Heyward (OF, CHC, LHB) - 6% Rostered
Matchup: at DET RHP Spencer Turnbull
Heyward is seeing the ball well of late, with seven walks and only five strikeouts in his last nine games. He's taking on Spencer Turnbull, whose wheels have fallen off in his last two starts, allowing six runs in 6.2 innings in his last two starts, while walking eight and striking out only three. Heyward should be able to get on-base at the very least.
Sam Haggerty (2B/OF, SEA, SHB) - 1% Rostered
Matchup: @ SD RHP Chris Paddack
Haggerty is swinging the bat well of late, going 6-for-20 (.300) with three runs, one home run, three RBI, and two stolen bases in his last five games. Haggerty provides some speed, which is always a plus. He makes for a nice pairing with White against Paddack.
Pitcher Streamers for 8/25
Tyler Chatwood (RHP, CHC) at DET - 32% Rostered
Chatwood was off to a dominant start, allowing only one earned run in 12.2 innings while walking four and striking out 19. Since those two starts, he got shelled for eight runs in 2.1 innings and then landed on the IL with back tightness, so there's a chance that he's been dropped in your league. Chatwood gets a chance to get things back on track against a Tigers' lineup that just got shut down by fellow righty Alec Mills. The Tigers came into Monday with a .284 wOBA (27th) and 30.1 K% (30th), so let's continue exploiting them.
Tommy Milone (LHP, BAL) at TB - 6% Rostered
Milone has looked like a different pitcher this season, increasing his swinging-strike rate from 10.1% to 13.0% and improving his K-BB% from 15.7% to 21.0%. Milone has also done a good job limiting hard contact, posting a solid 34.2% hard-hit rate. Milone has not walked a batter in four straight and has allowed three earned runs or less in four of five starts this season. He takes on a Rays' team that strikes out often, coming into Monday posting a 27.1 K% against southpaws. Fire up Milone away from Camden Yards here.
