Welcome to another edition of MLB Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers! The season continues to roll along and we here at Rotoballer are there for all of your streaming needs.
RotoBaller has been dishing out streamer advice for years. We're always streamin and dreamin. Each day we'll publish some of the best streaming options to consider in your fantasy baseball daily league lineups. Streaming pitchers and position players to exploit a matchup are extremely important in fantasy baseball, especially in a truncated season like this one.
Everyone reading this should monitor the pitching matchups before claiming these recommendations off the free-agent list. With all of the PPD Thursday night and last night, pitching matchups may change from when this was written, so I wouldn't want anyone to scoop one of these guys and be facing someone other than who is projected below. If these guys are not facing the named pitcher tonight, they likely will be in the coming days, so keep that in mind as well.

Shallow League Streamers (50% Rostered)
Jean Segura (2B/SS/3B, PHI) - 53% Rostered
Jean Segura is having somewhat of a down year in 2020, but he is still hitting left-handed pitching well. Robbie Erlin is the projected starter for the Braves on Friday night and that could spell good things of Segura. On the season, Segura is slashing .304/.429/.565 with two HR and one SB vs. left-handers.
Deeper League Streamers (25% Rostered)
Mitch Moreland (1B, BOS) - 38% Rostered
Moreland is absolutely raking to start the 2020 season and has been especially hot over the previous two weeks as he has slashed .407/.556/.741 with two HR and nine RBI. He has also been particularly good vs. right-handed pitching as he is posting a 1.345 OPS with eight bombs on the season. Anibal Sanchez has not been good and has been especially bad vs. lefties as he has allowed a .347 BAA with four doubles and three HR while only facing 56 batters.
Nick Ahmed (SS, ARI) - 27% rostered
Nick Ahmed has been known as a solid hitter vs. left-handed pitching and that was put on display in 2019 when he posted a .957 OPS with 15 doubles and six HR across 138 AB vs. southpaws. He gets a solid matchup vs. Tyler Anderson who allowed a .368 BAA and five HR to righties in 2019.
Deepest League Streamers (10% Rostered)
Tyler Anderson (SP, SF) - 5% Rostered
While I mentioned Ahmed as a one-off streamer vs. Anderson, Anderson also makes for a solid streamer Friday night as he has put together a solid albeit quiet season thus far. He has posted a 3.45 ERA with 21 K across 31.1 IP. He gets a solid matchup vs. the Diamondbacks on Friday as they have struggled vs. left-handed pitching in recent weeks. Over the previous two weeks, the Dbacks have posted a league-worst 45 wRC+, which should bode well for Anderson. Anderson also threw a complete game against the Dbacks in his last start on the 22nd.
Jason Heyward (OF, CHC) - 5% Rostered
Jayson Heyward has been heating up over the past couple of weeks and has also handled right-handed pitching quite well this season as noted by his .306/.414/.571 slash line vs. them this season. He has also posted a .985 OPS vs. righties in 2020 by hitting three doubles, two triples, and two HR in just 49 AB. DeSclafani has struggled vs. lefties to begin the season as he has allowed a .325 BAA and three HR while only facing 45 batters.
Victor Caratini (C/1B, CHC) - 5% Rostered
Caratini is in the same boat as Heyward above in that he has been solid vs. right-handed pitching to start 2020 and will be going up against DeSclafani, who struggles vs. lefties. So far in 2020, Caratini has gone 13/45 with four doubles, nine RBI, and four BB off of righties. While he may not produce a bomb on Friday, there is still a solid possibility for RBI production.
Yan Gomes (C, WAS) - 4% Rostered
This is a play on Yan Gomes' history vs. left-handed pitchers as well as his recent success vs. lefties. For his career, Gomes is a .278 hitter with an .813 OPS vs. lefties, so the track record is there. He has also started 2020 very hot vs. lefties as he has posted a 1.044 OPS with a double, triple, and four RBI off southpaws. While Martin Perez has been solid to start 2020, he has allowed three HR to righties and has also given up 38 HR to righties since 2018. If you need a catcher play Friday night, you could do a lot worse than Gomes.
