We have a 12 game main slate tonight with some big arms on the mound, and Coors Field in action. Plenty of options if you are looking for home run tonight, and a few spots to spend down at. Not major weather concerns as of now, but the MIA @ STL game should be monitored. Sit back, read up, and let's win some contests.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DFS on 7/5/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider
Trevor Bauer vs. SDP (DK - $7,300, FD - $8,700)
Bauer may have had an up and down first part of the season, but he has a very favorable match up in front of him tonight, so he is worth a look. Bauer is up against the Padres who have a 25% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitching this season, which is second worst in the entire league. Bauer has only put up five or more strikeouts twice in his last five starts, so the consistency isn't there, but there is some big upside do to the match up. He is a great tournament option, and is borderline cash option.
Gerrit Cole @ PHI (DK - $8,700, FD - $8,600)
Cole is coming off of a rough start against the Giants, but he has been pretty consistent of late. Minus his most recent start, in his previous three games, Cole had 20 IP, 3 ER, 13 SO, and only 7 BB. Really strong numbers, and he is in a spot to have another good start tonight because of his match up. He is up against the Phillies, who have a 23% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitching, which is sixth worst in the league. The Phillies aren't a big offensive threat, so Cole is viable in all formats tonight.
DFS Infielders to Consider
Catcher (C)
Stephen Vogt vs. BAL (DK - $4,200, FD - $2,300)
Vogt is much cheaper on FanDuel today, and has seemingly taken the starting catching job since being acquired by the Brewers just a few weeks ago. He comes into this game with a .309 wOBA and a .182 ISO vs right-handed pitching, and is at home in a very favorable hitters park. He is playable in all formats.
First Base (1B)
Justin Bour @ STL (DK - $4,100, FD - $3,200)
Bour has some real power vs right-handed pitching this season, he has a .362 wOBA and a .233 ISO. Great numbers for the newly announced home run derby contestant. He is decently priced on both sites, and he makes a great one off in tournaments, due to his power upside.
Second Base (2B)
Rougned Odor vs. BOS (DK - $3,900, FD - $3,500)
Odor is on a bit of a hot streak right now, he has three home runs in his last four games (Not including Tuesday's game). Odor has good power, but only against right-handed pitching, and he is facing one tonight. He has a .296 wOBA and a .225 ISO vs RHP. At home in a great hitters park, he is viable in all formats tonight.
Shortstop (SS)
Jean Segura vs. KAN (DK - $4,100, FD - $3,300)
Segura is a player who goes a bit overlooked sometimes, since he doesn't play in the best offense, and plays in a pitchers park half of the time. But with all that said, he is a great hitter, and in a good spot tonight. This season vs left-handed pitching, he has a .336 wOBA, a .400 OBP, and only a 14% strikeout rate. So when he gets to face LHP, he isn't wasting those chances and he is getting on base a ton. Great in all formats tonight.
Third Base (3B)
Freddie Freeman vs. HOU (DK - $4,500, FD - $3,500)
Free money Freddie is back! Freeman came off of the DL yesterday, and is now playing third base. Before he hit the DL, he had 14 home runs, in 37 games. This season he has a .489 wOBA and a .418 ISO vs right-handed pitching. Those numbers may be inflated since its a smaller sample size, but we all know what he can do, and he is always a good play.
DFS Outfielders to Consider
Jay Bruce @ WAS (DK - $4,100, FD - $3,500)
Bruce has big time splits as a hitter, and is really only in play when he faces a right-handed pitcher, as he is tonight. This season vs RHP, he has a .386 wOBA and a .298 ISO. He is at a decent hitters park, and with power numbers like those, the homer upside is certainly there.
Max Kepler vs. LAA (DK - $4,000, FD - $2,600)
Kepler is way too cheap on FanDuel today, and he should be an auto lock for you tonight. Always nice to find a player under $3K, who has a .376 wOBA and a .231 ISO vs right-handed pitching this season. He has three multi hit games in his last five, so take the savings and lock him in.
Raimel Tapia vs. CIN (DK - $4,200, FD - $3,200)
Tapia has stepped into the starting lineup due to some injuries on the Rockies, and he has already started producing big numbers. He has two home runs in his last four games, and has moved up a few spots in the batting order. Always nice to get some exposure to a game a Coors Field, and he is a great option to do so.
