DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider
Alex Wood - P, vs SF (DK - $11,700, FD - 10,000)
Wood has been enjoying an elite season, as he enters this game with an 11-1 record, 2.17 ERA, and 10.4 K/9. He gets a great matchup against the Giants, who Wood has thrown well against this season. He's currently a -300 favorite in a game set at 8 runs, and Wood makes an elite pitching option on the slate tonight.
Robbie Ray - P, at STL (DK - $9,400, FD - $9,200)
Ray has struggled at times this season, but he has looked exceptionally well on the road this season. Through nine road starts, Ray has a 5-1 record, 1.51 ERA, and 11.6 K/9. He gets a solid matchup against the Cardinals tonight, but he's surprisingly a small underdog in a game set at 8 runs. He's cheap enough to be used in all leagues tonight, though.
DFS Infielders to Consider
Tyler Flowers - C, at PHI (DK - $3,600, FD - $2,600)
Flowers is a player that has been enjoying a great season, especially on the road. He's hitting over .300 with solid power for his position away from home this season. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against Jeremy Hellickson in an extremely hitter friendly stadium. Flowers has been playing well enough to be considered in all leagues.
Chris Davis - 1B, at TEX (DK - $3,800, FD - $3,500)
Davis isn't a player that hits a high average, but he does come with quite a bit of power. He gets a good matchup against Andrew Cashner, and Davis has an elite 0.141 ISO differential against right-handed pitching this season. He isn't safe enough to be used in cash games, but he's a great option in tournaments for his price tag.
Carlos Asuaje - 2B, vs PIT (DK - $3,200, FD - $2,400)
Asuaje has only played in limited games this season, but he is hitting nearly .350 over his last 10 games. He is hitting near the top of the Padres offense, and Asuaje has an impressive 0.151 wOBA and 0.103 ISO differential against right-handed pitching this season. He gets a good matchup against Chad Kuhl tonight, and Asuaje has been playing well enough for all leagues.
Wilmer Flores - 3B, at SEA (DK - $4,200, FD - $2,700)
Flores hasn't had many at-bats over his last 10 games, but he's hitting over .300 with an OPS over 1.200 over that span. He's a player that has dominated left-handed pitching throughout his career, and he gets a good matchup against Ariel Miranda tonight. Flores is expected to draw the start, and he's an elite option when given a full game worth of at-bats.
Kike Hernandez - SS, vs SF (DK - $3,600, FD - $2,300)
Hernandez is a hitter that is specifically used against left-handed pitching, as he has hit well against lefties for the majority of his career. Hernandez is a player that has displayed great power this season, and he gets a great matchup against Matt Moore. Hernandez can be used in all leagues tonight.
DFS Outfielders to Consider
Bryce Harper - OF, vs COL (DK - $5,400, FD - 4,800)
Harper has been playing at an exceptionally high level recently, as he enters this game with an average over .400 and an OPS over 1.300 over the last 10 games. He's a player that comes with a tremendous amount of speed and power, and he gets a good matchup against German Marquez. Harper makes an elite option in all leagues.
Albert Almora - OF, at MIL (DK - $3,600, FD - $2,400)
Almora has only seen limited at-bats over his last 10 games, but he's hitting well over .350 with decent power over that span. He's a player that has dominated left-handed pitching this season, and he gets a good matchup against Brent Suter tonight. He does come with some risk, as he may only play half of the game, but he has more than enough upside to be used in tournaments.
