The "Grandyman" proved that he still can hit last season. Granderson has enjoyed a nice renaissance with Kevin Long as his hitting coach again. He's never going to be the guy that hit 40 bombs for the Yankees again, but he can still provide 20+ home runs with good runs scored numbers and occasional steals. He ranked in the top 10 in walks, recorded a .364 OBP, and had a .821 OPS. The main knocks on Grandy are his average and strikeout totals, but he's still a very serviceable hitter.
Don't go reaching for Grandy in the hopes of a 40 homer season, not that I really thought anyone would. However if you get him in the later rounds of the draft, he can be a nice third outfielder for a lot of owners. The shortened porch in right field at Citi Field is a nice bonus for him, as is the return of Cespedes. There is some risk of injury as he is 35, but he's still got some quality baseball left in the tank.
