The Red Sox and Yankees made it a really interesting off-season with their bullpen additions. Boston acquired Craig Kimbrel from San Diego to be their closer... and New York got Aroldis Chapman from Cincinnati. Coincidence? Maybe. Sure, Boston got Kimbrel because Koji Uehara got hurt last year and he's also 40. But they also got him so their bullpen can shorten games, just like the Yankees with their relief corps of Andrew Miller, Dellin Betances and Chapman. Kimbrel may have had the highest ERA since 2011, but he should regain his form behind the rabid Red Sox fan base. Draftees should expect at least 40 saves and a sub-2.00 ERA. He's either the second- or third-ranked reliever depending on your feelings about Kenley Jansen. Our writers vary widely on where he should be picked... like a 22-place swing. One had him ranked at No. 60 and another had him at No. 90. Then again, they also did the same with Chapman, with one having him at No. 59 and another at No. 89. It's all about draft strategy... though conventional wisdom would be to get Kimbrel sooner than later in the draft or he'll be by you faster than one of his fastballs. In that case, you'll be left flailing as you try to get another closer.
