Washington Commanders - NFL Betting Analysis

Heading into week 4, the Washington Commanders are looking to bounce back from a divisional loss to the Eagles by a score of 24-8. With the loss, Washington also failed to cover the spread, as they were 6.0 underdogs. The team's combined scoring of 32 points fell below the posted betting line of 47. The Commanders were not able to make a comeback in last week's game, as they trailed Philadelphia by a score of 24-0 heading into the final quarter. Through 3 games, the Commanders have an ATS record of 1-2. So far, they have an over-under record of 2-1. This week's betting total of 42.5 is slightly lower than the line in their previous games.

As the Commanders prepare to take on Dallas, they have played well on offense, ranking 12th in points per game at 21.0. Even though they have a tough matchup against the league's 8th ranked defense, look for Washington to continue their strong offensive play. This season, Washington has been one of the better passing teams in the league, averaging 255.33 yards per game through the air. Although the Cowboys defense has been able to limit opposing teams in the passing game, Washington should still be able to continue to generate big plays through the pass. Although the Commanders have a good matchup in the run game, our projections show that they will not be able to take advantage. So far, Washington is averaging 86.67 yards per game on the ground.

Dallas Cowboys - NFL Betting Analysis

The Cowboys head into week 4, looking for another win, as they picked up 7 point victory over the New York Giants (23-16). In terms of betting, Dallas picked up an ATS win, as they were the 1.5 point underdogs. In terms of the over-under, the teams combined for 39 points, which surpassed the betting line of 38. The Cowboys and Giants entered the 4th quarter all tied at 13-13. But Dallas outscored New York by 7 to pull out the victory. Through 3 games, the Cowboys have an ATS record of 1-2. So far, they have an over-under record of 2-1. This week's betting total of 42.5 is slightly lower than the line in their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Cowboys offense is averaging 15.33 points per game, placing them 30th in the NFL. Look for the team to put together a strong offensive performance vs a Commanders defense giving up 27.3 points per game. Although the Cowboys come into the game ranked just 24th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a Washington secondary that is vulnerable through the air. We expect Dallas to have an above average performance in the passing attack. On the ground, the Cowboys come into the game averaging 118.0 yards per game, placing them 11th in the league. However, our projections show they could be in line for let down game in this week's matchup vs Washington.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Commanders vs. Cowboys

Over the last 3 matchups between Washington and Dallas, the Cowboys have won 2 of the last 3 games. The two teams have combined to average 58.0 points per game in their last 3 meetings. When looking back to last year's matchups between Dallas and Washington, the Cowboys won both games by scores of 56-14 and 27-20.

The Dallas Cowboys have performed well vs the spread in recent games, going 2-1. On average, the Commanders have averaged 25.0 points per game in the past 3 head-to-head matchups, compared to Dallas at 33.0.

Through their 3 most recent regular season matchups, the Commanders have gone 1-2. In addition, the team has not done well vs the spread, going 1-2. Their over-under record in these games was 2-1.

Through their last 3 road games, Washington has an ATS record of just 1-2. However, their overall record was 1-2 while averaging 21.0 points per game.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Cowboys have gone 2-1 straight up. In addition, their ATS record over this stretch is 2-1 while posting a 1-2 over-under mark.

Through their last 3 home games, Dallas has an ATS record of just 1-2. However, their overall record was 1-2 while averaging 13.33 points per game.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Cowboys -3.5

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Over 42.5
