BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/WR4
ANALYSIS: Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton is off to a slow start to 2024, primarily because the Broncos offense is absolutely horrible. QB Bo Nix has been abysmal, logging just 5.0 yards per pass attempt and four interceptions with a passer rating of 51.0.
Additionally, fellow Broncos WR Josh Reynolds has logged over double the receiving yards Sutton has. While that doesn't mean Reynolds is twice as good or that the splits will remain that way, it could show a lack of chemistry between Sutton and Nix or clashing play styles.
Sean Payton said several times there was a mistake on one of the routes here. Pretty confident it was Sutton — looks like he should’ve worked toward the left pylon.
Reynolds abandoned his route when he saw Sutton going inside. Would’ve been an easy TD to Reynolds on the post. pic.twitter.com/QKnbcaMBbD

Sutton isn't exactly blameless, but the entire offense is completely anemic. That said, they'll have a softer matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3, but that should be treated more as an evaluation game than a chance to start Sutton.
It's better to wait and see how he does against a bit softer competition. For now, though, he's better off on the bench. The offense needs some time to improve.
