CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations
Calyx has been scoring really well lately from a dfs perspective and with his price only being at $8,800, he deserves major consideration on this slate. He is averaging 63.8 DK points per game and has scored 70+ DK points in five of his last eight games played. Over the last three months, Calyx has produced a 1.17 K/D ratio while having a .80 kill per round rate.
He carries major kill upside and also owns a 59.6% headshot percentage which shows how good his aiming actually is. The only thing that should bring concern is that ENVY has not played competitively in over a month so there could be some rust. Once Calyx gets going though, he should be able to produce in this matchup.
Grim checks in at $9,200 on this slate and with some other bigger named players on this slate, he could go lower owned which would be great in tournaments. Over the last 14 maps played, Grim has produced a 1.34 K/D ratio while having a +77 K/D differential.
He has been on fire over the last month as he has produced a .82 kill per round rate while only having a .61 death per round rate. In his lone match against Yeah! last month, Grim went +8 and finished the lone map with a 1.47 K/D ratio. He looks to be a great play in all formats and should be one of the top plays on the slate.
Other captain plays: PwnAlone (GPP), kNgV-, FalleN, floppy, oSee
CS:GO DFS Value Plays
Junior stands out to be a great play for his price point at $6,800. Over the last month of games played, he has had a 1.25 K.D ratio and a +50 K/D differential as well. He is sporting a .69 kill per round rate while having a very low .55 death per round rate which makes him a safer play in the value tier.
Even though he is averaging 38.8 DK points per game, that number is factoring in several Bo1 games while also facing tough high-end competition. Junior is viable in all formats and could even be looked at as a value captain play because of the recent form that he has been showing.
Motm is more of a tournament play on this slate given his price point at $6,800. He is one of the more volatile players for C9 as he has a .68 kill per round rate but a high .67 death per round rate over the last three months.
Motm has a 53.8% headshot percentage over that same span which is very solid and shows that he tries to eliminate opponents very quickly. Due to his volatility and higher death rate, motm looks to be more of a gpp tournament play rather than a cash game play.
Other value plays: sonic, trk, dumau, RCF

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks
Cloud 9 looks to be in a great spot in this afternoon slate against the New England Whalers. C9 comes into this matchup ranked #19 overall while the New England Whalers are ranked #54 in the world. They own the head-to-head record of 2-0 against the New England Whalers with both wins coming earlier this year in April. C9 looks to have the map advantage as they have a better win percentage on four of the seven maps that are in the competition rotation.
While the overall team numbers have not been great for C9, part of it is due to the higher level of competition that they have faced. C9 has the highest odds on the slate and will draw ownership so it would be smart to get a few pieces from them on this slate. Floppy and oSee are the two main targets to look at from this squad. Both are priced above $8,000 so you might need to go down and grab someone like motm who is under $7,000 and provides you some salary relief while bringing potential upside to your lineup.
MiBR will most likely be the most popular team to stack based on name alone. They carry the second-highest odds on the slate and are 2-0 against Chaos in a Bo3 setting this season with the win coming towards the end of May. Both squads have similar numbers over the last month of games played as MiBR has carried a team K/D ratio of 1.03 while Chaos has carried a 1.01 during the same timespan.
MiBR gets the edge based on the level of competition that they have been playing against while also getting the map advantage seeing that they perform better on five out of the seven viable maps for competition. FalleN and kNgV- are the two prime targets to look at from the MiBR side of things. They are carrying above a 1.10 K/D ratio and both carry big-time upside. Fer is always a viable secondary stacking option while trk has been quietly performing well for his pricing range and would be a great tournament punt from this squad.
Other stacks/teams: Triumph, ENVY
