IEM Cologne 2021 Play-In (BO1)
Best of 3
- Vitality (-385) vs. Renegades
- TeamOne vs. OG (-400)
- Sprout () vs. BIG (-225)
- FaZe (-115) vs. Evil Geniuses (-115)
- ViCi vs. Complexity (-550)
*BO1 is only one match being played so it is best to max your stacking to two guys from the same team instead of maxing out at three.
Captain Plays
mantuu has been in great form over the last three months and is one of the top captain choices on this five-game slate. He comes into this matchup sporting a 1.36 K/D ratio over his last 34 maps played and has a +178 K/D differential during that time span. Mantuu has gone plus in seven straight matches and has managed to go plus by double-digits in five out of those seven matches. If you're looking for a consistent player with a very good floor, mantuu is your guy.
ZywOo continues to be a top one-off option on any given slate and this slate is no different. Over the last three months, ZywOo has totaled a 1.37 K/D ratio and has had a +189 K/D differential during that time span. Over the three-month span, ZywOo has had a .81 kill per round rate and a .58 death per round rate which shows the kind of upside he brings on a per-round basis and he is in good form as he has gone plus in five out of his last seven matches played.
Other captain plays in order of preference: XANTARES, blameF, INS
Value Plays
sico is one of the many cheaper Renegade options on this slate that could be looked at especially if you opt to not roster a Vitality member. Over his last 17 maps played, he has produced a 1.19 K/D ratio and has had a .71 kill per round rate while having a .59 death per round rate. Even though it was against lesser opponents, anything can happen in a BO1 series!
kaze has been a prominent player for ViCi and has been in really good form over the last three months of games played. He has a 1.38 K/D ratio over the last 22 maps played and has produced a .75 kill per round rate while having a very low death per round rate of just .54. This will be a big challenge for ViCi going up against Complexity and for the to pull out the upset, kaze will need to be on his "A" game.
Other value plays in order of preference: Aleksib, poizon, broky, michu

Top Stacks / Team Picks
OG stands out as the clear-cut top team to consider stacking on this slate. They have won five out of the last six matches that they have played and their lone loss was the top team in the world which is Gambit. When looking at their last three months of games played, OG has gone 22-12 with a team K/D ratio of 1.11 while TeamOne has gone 27-27 with a team K/D ratio of just .97.
OG is filled with talent and even their "worst" player has some upside. They are led by mantuu is the highest-priced player on the squad. He is a must if looking to stack OG. Outside of him, others that should be of consideration would be valde, flameZ, and Aleksib from a value standpoint. Niko could be used but just know that he does carry risk as he hasn't been above a 1 K/D ratio over his last three months of games played.
Other Stacks: BIG, Renegades
