Spring Sweet Spring 3 Regionals
Best of 3
- ONYX vs. Fiend (-425)
- Nexus (-130) vs. 4glory
Captain Plays:
REDSTAR is the highest-priced player on the slate and would be one of the top players that should be considered for the captain position. Over the last month of games played, REDSTAR has produced a 1.21 K/D ratio over 32 maps played while having +102 K/D differential as well. REDSTAR has produced a .75 kill per round rate while having a low .62 death per round rate and has a 73.5% KAST rate which is slightly above the player average.
XELLOW would be a captain option if you were really wanting to not go the chalky Fiend route and go the more contrarian route for this two-game slate. XELLOW has produced a 1.09 K/D ratio over his last 22 maps played and has a .73 kill per round rate during that time which is one of the higher overall rates on this slate.
Other captain plays in order of preference: h4rn, lauNX
Value Plays:
dream3r is arguably the best value on the slate based on his overall price and recent form. Over his last 52 maps played, he has produced a 1.43 K/D ratio and has a strong .83 kill per round rating while having an extremely low .58 death per round rate. He has one of the higher KAST percentages as he gets a kill, assists, or stays alive 79.1% of the time over his last 52 maps played and this is ideal in all formats.
v1c7oR is another cheap option from Fiend that could be considered in tournament builds. He has flashed some upside recently as he has eclipsed 50+ DK points in three out of his last four games played despite carrying just a 1 K/D ratio over the last month of games played. He has been pretty even with a .65 kill per round rate and a .56 death per round rate during that timeframe and would be one to consider if you really need salary relief on this slate.
Other value plays in order of preference: impulse, Blytz, Kind0

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:
Fiend should roll in this matchup against ONYX and there is no reason that Fiend should be faded on this slate. They come into this matchup as the 28th ranked team in the world while ONYX is ranked #199 in the world. In addition, Fiend has won four out of their last six games played and has gone 24-8 over their last 32 maps played, and has produced a 1.17 team K/D ratio during that time while Onyx has gone 3-11 over the last three months worth of games played and has a team K/D ratio of .87 during that span. This entire team is in play with the main players to focus on being dream3r, h4rn, and REDSTAR as they all have produced a K/D ratio above 1.20+ over the last 32 maps played.
Other Stacks: Nexus
