Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering eSports DFS at RotoBaller! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CSGO contests on Draftkings and FanDuel.
We have a four-game slate on DraftKings and a six-gamer on FanDuel that is a part of the ESL One: Road to Rio qualifier. This has been an awesome tournament so far and has provided us with a steady stream of solid 4-6 match slates. We have a number of really good teams in action today and some really closely projected matches which should make for an awesome GPP slate.
Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS advice, analysis, and lineup picks for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings and FanDuel for Saturday, May 9th, 2020 at 12:30 PM. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @jorgepucks as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions!

CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations
Brollan just consistently produces and has had seven straight games where he has had 60+ DK points. Throughout the Road to Rio- Europe stretch, he has garnered a 1.19 rating and over this 16 map stretch, he has had a 1.21 K/D ratio with a .80 kill per round rate. In his career against NiP, he has a .98 K/D ratio which is not ideal so using him would be more of a tournament play than a cash game play.
Xyp9x is underpriced on DK for his upside and I for one have enjoyed rolling him out in tournament lines. He is just $7,800 and is the third-highest Astralis player over on DK. He is averaging60.2 DK points and has a 1.18 K/D ratio over the last 22 maps played. He is carrying a .69 kill per round rate while also having a .58 death per round rate during the Road to Rio qualifier and has four straight games of 60+ DK points.
Hallzerk is priced at $8,000 on DK but is an extreme value over on FD since he is priced at $9,800. He is averaging 58 DK points per game and has a 1.15 K/D ratio over the last month. He has a .74 kill per round rate while having a .64 death per round rate and has scored a 1+ rating in 73.1% of his games that he has played over the last month. He could go overlooked due to other great players on this slate so he could be a great lower owned tournament option.
Other captain plays:Maka, f0rest, Nivera, KRIMZ, Zyw0o
CS:GO DFS Value Plays
JW has put up some great games recently as he has scored 60+ DK points in four of his last five games. He is $6,000 on DK and $10,000 on FD so he is where you go for salary relief if trying to get a piece from Fnatic. Over the last 23 maps played, JW has had a 1.02 K/D ratio with a .67 kill per round rate and also has had 65.2% of maps played where he has finished with a 1+ rating. JW is a great tournament piece with the upside that he has recently shown and could be used in the captain spot if you think he could hit 60+ in this matchup.
Lekr0 has been showing excellent form over the last 23 maps played. Over his last eight games, he has hit for over 50 DK points in seven of those! He has a very tough matchup against Fnatic, but he has performed against some of the top squads recently, so the matchup isn’t too much of a concern. Over the last month, Kekr0 has a 1.15 K/D ratio, which has been the second-highest ratio on the team and has a .69 kill per round rate. He is just $5,800 on DK and $10,100 over on FD, so he looks to be more of a value play over on DK. I like him in both formats due to his form and floor that he provides
Other value plays: Lucky, friberg

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks
Astralis has now been ranked #1 in the world as they are winners of four straight games and are tied for first place with NiP in the Group A play of the Road to Rio- Europe qualifier. ENCE is sitting at 3-3 and is clawing their way as they are tied with three other squads with the same record so this is a big game for both Astralis and ENCE since both teams can distance themselves from others that are tied with them.
Over the last month, ENCE has carried a team K/D ratio of 1.06 which is pretty solid but Astralis has racked up a 1.13 team K/D ratio over the same timespan. Astralis owns the head-to-head matchup record of 6-4 with a nice three-game victory over ENCE in March. This will be a tough challenge for Astralis due to the recent form that ENCE has been in but they could be a good two-man stack option. Astralis has a very strong well-rounded team so all of them are in play with Xyp9x being my favorite overall play due to price and upside.
Dignitas is a slight underdog in this matchup against Complexity but I think they can pull out the upset against Complexity. They are both closely ranked with Dignitas ranked #31 and Complexity ranked #26 and are both 1-5 in Group A play of the Road to Rio- Europe qualifier.
Dignitas has won three of their last five games and has two solid players that could be a good viable two-man stack on this slate. Hallzerk has performed well over the last month by having a +72 K/D differential and f0rest is one to pair him with as he has carried a +36 K/D differential with a 1.07 K/D ratio over the last 26 maps played. Being that Complexity is also a very good team, this is more of a tournament type stack in hopes that they pull out the upset with lower ownership.
Other stacks/ teams: Fnatic, Heretics
