Dreamhack Masters Spring 2021
Best of 3 Series
- Gambit (-250) vs. G2
- Heroic (-150) vs. Natus Vincere
Captain Plays:
sh1ro has been on fire and there is no reason to not consider him in all formats. Sh1ro is sporting a 1.59 K/D ratio over his last 24 maps played and has a +185 K/D differential during that span. He has a very strong .80 kill per round rate while having a low death per round rate of .50 which is ideal from a cash game perspective. In five maps against G2 over the last three months, sh1ro has posted a 1.84 K/D ratio and a +51 K/D differential which is too good to pass up.
s1mple would be the main pivot to consider if you were wanting to get a little different with your roster construction and did not want to roster sh1ro as the captain on this two-game slate. Over his last nine maps played, s1mple has sported a 1.56 K/D ratio and had a +76 K/D differential. S1mple carries a similar upside as sh1ro does as he has a.88 kill per round rate while also having a low .57 death per round rate and has fared well against Heroic in the past as he has a 1.42 K/D ratio against them over the last year of maps played (five total maps played against them).
Other captain plays: cadiaN, TeSeS
Value Plays:
Sjuush looks to be underpriced for the form that he has been in for the last 21 maps that he has played. During this last month's stretch of games, sjuush has produced a 1.13 K/D ratio and a +44 K/D differential which is a steal for his pricing range. Sjuush is sporting a .69 kill per round rate and a low .62 death per round rate and is close to carrying a 50% headshot percentage over his last 38 maps played.
NiKo is certainly underpriced as he is sporting a 1.17 K/D ratio over his last 30 maps that he has played but rostering him could be somewhat dangerous as he has not fared out too well against Gambit in the past. In just three maps over the last month against them, NiKo hs accrued a .82 K/D ratio and had a -9 differential. The enticing part of rostering NiKo is that he should come in lower owned and will be more of a contrarian pivot at that price point.
Other value plays: nafany, huNter-. nafany, perfecto

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:
Gambit is the top team in the world and it is hard to pick against them at this current time. They have won their last six matches that they have played and one of those wins includes a 2-1 win over G2. They have dominated the map advantage as they carry a higher winning percentage on five of the seven playable maps and are in much better form as they are sporting a team K/D ratio of 1.20 over the last 24 maps played while G2 only has a team K/D ratio of .99 over their last 30 maps played.
Gambit has four out of five of their players that have above a 1 K/D ratio over the last 24 maps played. They are led by sh1ro who is one of the top players in the world and should be included in every Gambit stack. Outside of him, other players that should be up for consideration should be Ax1Le, Hobbit, and nafany who have all gone plus over the last month of games played and had above a 1 match rating.
Other Stacks: Heroic
