CS:GO DFS Picks
Best of 3 Series
- Heroic (-130) vs. Furia (-105)
- Natus Vincere (-245) vs. Team Liquid (+175)
Captain Plays:
S1mple: S1mple thrives on tougher competition. He plays better and better the harder his competition pushes him and his team. In the sweep against Furia, he had 56 kills and had multiple instances where he clutched in 1v2 or 1v3 situations. If Team Liquid plans to keep this competitive, expect S1mple to end up with a lot of kills. Out of his last 11 games, he has only had games with less than 50 kills 3 times and those were quick wins by NAVI. He has 1.58 K/D and is getting .93 kills per round and only .59 deaths per round. These are insane stats and are some of the highest in the world.
Yuurih: yuurih is one of the best players on FURIA. He can lead a team convincingly with his team-leading 1.20 K/D and .78 kills per round. You can also put Hen1 and KSCERATO into consideration as well as they also have very close stats to what yuurih has as well. Other than their last two games against NAVI, Yuurih had gone positive in 13 of the previous 14 games played. As long as FURIA stays competitive with Heroic, yuurih will more than likely be a Top 2 play on his team and possibly Top 2 in the entire game.
Other captain plays: Electronic, HEN1, KSCERATO, NAF(GPP), cadian
Value Plays:
Perfecto: Perfecto came out against FURIA and decided he wasn't to be messed with. He, s1mple, and electronic were the only ones to go positive on the day. I really like Perfectos price on DK being only 6,400 and if he goes positive again he should be fairly high scoring. On FD he is still reasonably cheap, but 10k is a little more pricey than I would like to pay for him, but if he does go positive he should pay off his price tag especially if NAVI comes out and sweeps TL.
VINI: VINI has looked absolutely horrible in the last few games. But it has been against extremely tough opponents against NAVI, G2, and Astralis. It's extremely hard to ignore VINI's price as he is only 8,500 on FD and 5,200 on DK. He is dirt cheap and provides a lot of upside in a win. He went +10 or better in 3 straight games against TL, North, and G2. He is the ability to score really well but depends on the team winning to give him a boost in confidence.
Other Value Plays: Boombl4, Niko, Grim, Stewie2k (PUNT)
Top Stacks/ Team Picks:
Natus Vincere: NAVI hasn't lost to a team outside of the Top 15 since October 20th. Team Liquid looked great against Heroic but, Natus is a whole different breed and with them having s1mple on the team it could be a rough outing for Liquid. Natus has swept Furia twice and I wouldn't say TL is as good as Furia. Natus and TL haven't played since February where NAVI swept 32-24. s1mple is more than likely going to be our chalk play of the day as he will 80%+ owned as he usually is. Electronic has been priced up and is the 2nd highest on DK and 5th on FD. Perfecto is cheap on DK and looked great in their last outing against FURIA going +11 on the day. Boombl4 is a nice punt on FD if you are looking for a salary saver. Flamie has been subbed out and hasn't looked even slightly decent so he is a fade for me.
FURIA: It's hard to justify playing Heroic after they just got demolished by Team Liquid. So I'm going to take the upset and hope FURIA can also do the same. FURIA has been very competitive against teams like NAVI, G2, and Astralis. Furia should be able to keep up with Heroic if not even take over the game. I do expect this game to go 3 rounds so picking players from either FURIA or Heroic can work well.
For Furia, yuurih is a great start, and kscerato and HEN1 are also great plays and will probably be looked over for the likes of yuurih. Vini is a great value play that can smash in the right setting. ArT has been playing better but he is incredibly inconsistent and Vini has priced cheaper than him.
Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Heroic
Sub-Risks:
Natus Vincere: B1t, flamie
