Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. Heroic was quite the letdown but FaZe has killed it the last two days beating OG and then destroying BiG today. For tomorrow we get a new set of teams as this is the first set of quarterfinals lined up for us. At first, we have NiP taking on Movistar Riders and in the next game, we have Vitality taking on a hot Copenhagen Flames team.
Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Thursday, October 7th, 2021, at 11:00, am.

IEM Fall 2021 Europe
Best of 3
- NiP (-425) vs. Movistar Riders (+280)
- Vitality (-325) vs. Copenhagen Flames (+230)
Captain Plays
device: device has been nothing but spectacular in this event. He has a +9 K/D differential or better in 4 of his 5 games and is averaging over 22 kills a map. They have won all 5 games and most by a very good margin. NiP is coming into this one a very dominant team and I see that continuing into a game here against Movistar Riders. device is averaging a 1.27 K/D with a .74 KPR and a low .58 DPR. I think pairing device with ZywOo is going to be almost a must. NiP comes in as a heavy favorite and for good reason. I see a sweep here and that could mean big points for device.
ZywOo: When there is no s1mple, ZywOo can be considered the GOAT, but for now he is still the 2nd best player in the world. He is going to have a tough task ahead of him for this one but I think he will be up for it. He has a 1.38 rating during this event so far and has positive games in all games even the one they lost. During this event, he has averaged a 1.46 K/D with a .82 KPR and a very low .56 DPR. This game could end up being a close one and if there is anyone I want in a three map match it is ZywOo even if he is the most expensive player on the slate.
Other captain plays in order of preference: REZ, Shox, roej (GPP), SunPayus (GPP),
Value Plays
LNZ: Something is clicking for LNZ and I'm here for it because he is 5,400$ and he is playing very well in this event. I think this is partly because of how well the team is playing but there has been a couple of games that LNZ has put up really good numbers including a 30 kill game with a +9 K/D differential and a 20 kill game against FaZe with a 10 K/D differential. In this event alone he carries a 1.43 K/D with a .77 KPR and a .54 DPR. If he can continue this play into tomorrow's game, then we are looking at an elite value play that could help get us some of the top guys without sacrificing any stacks.
nicoodoz: Copenhagen has been exceptionally good so far in this tournament completely wiping their opposition and beating some good teams in the process including G2, mousesports, and BiG. I do think nicoodoz is a big part of that as he and jabbi have been leading this team heavily. During the event, nico is carrying a 1.25 rating. As for his K/D, it is at a 1.43 with a .77 KPR and a .54 DPR. This is their best chance at coming up big and if they can do it, I do believe it is going to be thanks to nico. He is a great run back to a Vitality stack and a crucial piece to a full Copenhagen stack.
Other value plays in order of preference: apEX, jabbi, HooXi(GPP PUNT)

Top Stacks / Team Picks
NiP: Both are heavy favorites on this slate, I think there is a higher chance of a Copenhagen upset rather than a Movistar upset. Copenhagen has been playing stellar in this tournament winning every single game. Movistar has been good but NiP dominated their group and I see them making it difficult for Movistar to pull something off. Overall I see NiP having the more well-rounded team and getting a big win here to advanced them to the semi-finals.
As for players, the only one I'm currently not interested in is Plopski. He's decent for his price but the way LNZ has played makes me like him much more for cheaper. Also, REZ isn't too much more and I'd much rather grab him. The one player I am locking in though is device. He has been on an absolute tear during this tournament as his rating is at 1.45 for the event. My next favorite is REZ, I like his price a lot. He has played well during the tournament and I like the discount we get on him compared to hampus. LNZ is probably my favorite value play though as he has played very well during this tournament and he could end up with a sweep bonus as well.
Other stacking options: Vitality, Copenhagen Flames (GPP)
