Blast Premier World Final
Best of 3
- Entropiq (-145) vs. ECSTATIC (+110)
- Astralis (-310) vs. K23 (+225)
Captain Plays
K0nfig: When K0nfig and blameF joined Astralis back in November it was big and they made quite the splash in their first few games. That did start to fade though as the tournament went on. They struggled and I think the break was much needed to clear their heads and get ready for the upcoming year. This will be their first official online match as a team as well. When K0nfig played online back when he was with Complexity, he was a menace. I'm hoping we see the same thing here, we get him at a slight discount at only 8k which makes him at captain very affordable. He leads his team in KPR at .77 and holds a 1.06 K/D since joining Astralis.
El1an: I may not love the matchup a lot for Entropiq as a whole but one constant remain is that El1an is a demon. They lost today but he still finished with 53 kills on a +17 K/D differential. He has had one negative match in his last 9. In the 4 matches against ECSTATIC, he has gone positive in 3 of them with a +17, +18, and most recently +5. These two teams are very close in skill and I think that leads to three maps more than likely which El1an can capitalize on a lot. He is definitely part of my core plays for tomorrow's slate and should be heavily considered in your lineups especially at the captain spot. Over the last three months, he holds a 1.20 K/D with a .72 KPR and a low .60 DPR.
Other captain plays in order of preference: BlameF, FASHR, Krad, Norb3r7 (GPP)
Value Plays
Daffu: I'm not sure if Entropiq losing today was just them getting back in the groove but they choked bad and they definitely can't do that against ECSTATIC. I think we are getting great value out of a player like Daffu. He is only 5,800 and definitely has top fragging ability. In their last matchup against Entropiq, ECSTATIC won 2-1 and Daffu finished with 63 kills and a K/D differential of +14. Ecstatic ended the year on a rough losing streak but with how Entropiq started today's games, I think we see another close one between them.
fame: This is definitely a GPP play, but I like the value we get out of fame. He has a positive K/D in his last 12 matches straight. He is very cheap at 6k and if K23 makes a game out of this, I think he has a solid chance at making waves and scoring very well. Even if they get swept he could score decently well with the RNP bonus and a positive K/D. Over the last three months, he has a 1.17 K/D with a .71 KPR and a low .61 DPR.
Other value plays in order of preference: Krad, Wolfy, xsepower, Lucky, X5g7V

Top Stacks / Team Picks
Astralis: Astralis didn't come out of the end of the year as they had hoped, but it's a new year and they have a solid team to work with. They are coming down to a tier 2 event with Gambit to get some early practice in. They have a good matchup against K23 who has a decent team themselves. It's a good way to open up their 2022 campaign. Bubzkji isn't playing here so DK putting him on the slate makes no sense, just make sure you don't play him.
Konfig and BlameF are going to be your top plays from Astralis. I don't necessarily like Xyp9x but he is a solid value as he is very cheap. I do slightly prefer Lucky or gla1ve over him. In the case you are full-stacking them, he is a decent third option if you need the punt. I think this game is more likely to end up being a sweep than the other game. Norb3r7 is a solid run-back to Astralis stack if this game ends up staying close.
Other Team Picks: Ecstatic, Entropiq
Predictions
Astralis 2-0
ECSTATIC 2-1
