Should I Start Cole Kmet for Fantasy Football?
Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet is coming off a strong showing against the Saints last week, catching six passes for 55 yards and two touchdowns. The previous week he caught 10 passes for 79 yards. However, on Oct. 22, he wasn't targeted despite playing 89% of the team's snaps.
He's been a top target for Tyson Bagent the last two games, but he's also had one real stinker with Bagent under center. He's a low-end TE1 play this week, with plenty of upside but also a fairly low floor due to that target-less game he had last month.
He is the TE11 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Jake Ferguson for Fantasy Football?
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson had his best NFL game last week against the Eagles, catching seven of his 10 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown. It was the second game in a row that Ferguson had a touchdown reception and the third time this season.
His growing role with this Cowboys team makes him a low-end TE1 play with upside on Sunday when the Cowboys take on the New York Giants,
He is the TE9 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Dalton Schultz for Fantasy Football?
Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz was electric last week against the Buccaneers, catching 10 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown. It was the fourth time over the past five games that Schultz has caught a touchdown.
His recent uptick in production makes Schultz a top play at tight end this week. While he did struggle two games ago against the Panthers, catching two passes for just five yards, he's largely played well over the last month. Consider him a high-end TE1 option, just below the elite guys like Sam LaPorta and Mark Andrews.
He is the TE4 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
