BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deeper Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: September
ANALYSIS: Oakland Athletics outfield prospect Colby Thomas has progressed through the upper levels of the minor leagues very quickly and is knocking on the major league door.
Thomas opened the season by making his Double-A debut and held a strong .282/.340/.568 slash line with 14 home runs, 47 RBI, 12 swiped bags, and a 17:47 BB:K ratio through 59 games.
Then, the Mercer product got bumped up to Triple-A Las Vegas, where he currently sits with a .277/.352/.561 slash line through his first 44 games. He has gone deep ten times and tallied 29 RBI.

Since July 21, the No. 7 ranked prospect in the Oakland system on MLB.com has begun to heat up with a .287/.344/.662 slash line with six round-trippers and 13 RBI.
Thomas is worth stashing in deeper leagues for now, as he could get a taste of the big leagues in September, given his current pace.
