BALLER MOVE: Stash in 12+ Team Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: August
ANALYSIS: The time to stash Mayo in most formats could be right now. The Orioles have already made one trade for a starting pitcher in Zach Eflin, but are expected to be one of the most active contenders in the trade market as they have more minor-league talent that is MLB-ready to leverage than most teams.
Mayo is at the top of that list, though most think Baltimore is less likely to trade him and more likely to trade other players (such as Ryan Mountcastle) who are on the current MLB roster that would open up a spot for the big slugger.

Mayo's natural position is third base, but he's also made 15 starts at first base and could be used at either corner infield spot or at DH by Baltimore.
His minor league stats this season are crazy good as he's slashed .302/.379/.624 with 23 home runs and 22 doubles.
Baltimore is setting up to make a run at the AL East title and potentially the World Series as they have the best record in the American League and a ton of talent on their roster. But at some point, you have to think they want the best power-hitting right-handed bat in their organization up on the big league roster.
There is no promise that Mayo is in a Baltimore uniform by next week, but I would stash him now and see how things play out with the Orioles at the deadline. He's available in 84% of Yahoo! leagues currently.
