PROSPECT: Coby Mayo, 3B, Baltimore Orioles
PROSPECT STASH RANKING: No. 5
CALL-UP ETA: May
ANALYSIS: The 22-year-old prospect in the Baltimore pipeline is off to a scorching start of the season in Triple-A and is nearing a promotion. As a result, Baltimore Orioles third baseman Coby Mayo should be stashed in all standard leagues.
Coby Mayo has posted a .333/.400/.667 stat line through 29 games, with 10 long balls, three stolen bases, and 26 RBI. This stat line looks even more impressive when compared to his production across 62 games at Triple-A last season, where Mayo hit just 12 home runs with a .267/.393/.512 stat line.
The 22-year-old is currently riding a five-game hit streak from April 26-May 1 and an even more impressive three-game home run streak (April 28-May 1).

Mayo has only gone hitless in five games this season and is on the brink of his major league debut.
Ramon Urias and Jorge Mateo have been slotting in at the hot corner over the course of the season, with Jordan Westburg primarily covering second base. Urias has had a rough start to the season with a .167/.184/.250 line, while Mateo has been solid with a .256/.326/.410 line.
However, if the Orioles want more pop from the hot corner, Mayo should be up in relatively short order. I would expect Mayo to be promoted before the end of the month.
