ANALYSIS: Incumbent Chiefs starting running back Isiah Pacheco has officially been ruled out of the team's Week 14 game against the Buffalo Bills with a shoulder injury. Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been confirmed as the Chiefs' starter this week with head coach Andy Reid going as far as calling him "...the number one guy..." per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It's fair to say that the former first-round overall pick has disappointed during his time in Kansas City. Since logging 1,000 total yards and five TDs during his rookie campaign, CEH's production - and playing time - has steadily dipped every year he's been in the league. He's averaging a career-low 3.5 yards per attempt this season while seeing just spot duty behind Pacheco.
For all of Edwards-Helaire's shortcomings, he does seem to be in line to handle the bulk of the groundwork over Jerick McKinnon in Week 14, a role that puts him on the fantasy radar. The Bills are allowing the NFL's fourth-most yards per carry (4.58) to opposing running backs this season. This matchup carries shootout potential, which means CEH can be considered a borderline RB2/3 this week.
