BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 32% of leagues
ANALYSIS: With the Yankees' roster ravaged by injury, opportunities have arisen for bench bats and minor leaguers to accrue everyday at-bats. Clint Frazier is one of those beneficiaries. The 24-year-old, acquired as part of the Andrew Miller deal at the 2016 trade deadline, has ascended to a starting role thanks to the health issues of Aaron Hicks and Giancarlo Stanton. Thus far, he's looked like he deserves to be there, hitting a robust .321/.323/.643 with three home runs and 10 RBI in just eight games.
As a prospect, Frazier flashed the ever-alluring combination of power, speed, and plate discipline. While he didn't run much in the high minors, he does have the raw ability to steal bases, and the power has certainly translated - including his cameos in 2017 and 2018, Frazier boasts a .209 isolated power in his 214 plate appearances in the big leagues.
It may be tough to find playing time for him once his teammates are healthy, but for the moment, Frazier is worth an add in pretty much any format. You can find him on the waiver wire in over two-thirds of Yahoo leagues currently.
