BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 0% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks running back CJ Prosise was on the field for 46 offensive snaps in Week 3, nine more than starting running back Chris Carson. With Carson's fumbling problems (three lost fumbles the past three weeks) and Rashaad Penny's hamstring injury, could Prosise be in line for some significant fantasy production in the near future?
Carson was still by far the No. 1 option in the run game for the Seahawks in Week 3, carrying the ball 15 times for 53 yards. Prosise only received four carries and managed just five yards with them. Where Prosise is most intriguing is in the passing game. Prosise caught all five of his targets for 38 yards this past Sunday, whereas Carson only received one target.
Penny's availability for Seattle's favorable Week 4 matchup against the Cardinals is very much in question. He's essentially day-to-day at this point, but if he's out, Prosise is a sneaky start option in PPR leagues of 14-or-more teams. This is Prosise's fourth year in the league and he's shown little ability to stay healthy or manage a large workload, so don't get too excited about him, but if Penny's out or if Carson is benched at some point for fumbling reasons, Prosise becomes a solid candidate for around five catches and 50 yards in a potent and efficient offense.
