The 16 drivers that started the Chase just over two weeks ago will soon become 12. The first elimination race is now upon us with a the Citizen Soldier 400 this Sunday from Dover International Speedway. Kevin Hark and Martin Truex Jr. are both locked in to the next round with their wins at Chicago and New Hampshire. The four drivers(Buescher, Stewart, Dillon, McMurray) outside the cutoff will need a win or something big to go their way to advance. McMurray is in the best position of those four sitting just five points back of Larson in the 12th position. No one besides the drivers with wins are safe going into this one as one mistake, crash or mechanical issue can send you packing.
Dover International Speedway is a one mile Oval short track with a 24° of banking in the corners leading to a ton of door to door racing. The teams were able to unload off the truck on Friday and get in the first practice but unfortunately qualifying was rained out. This will create some nice place differential values this week so stay tuned for results of the final two practices.

Daily Fantasy NASCAR: DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks
Favorite to win: Kyle Busch ($10,300)
He didn't get a good result back in May here at Dover as Jimmie Johnson's botched restart triggered a huge a wreck that took out 18 cars. Kyle has won here twice over the course of his career and while none have come in the last 10 races he has recorded three Top 5's and six Top 10 finishes with the 3rd most laps led(590) over that period. He is trending in the right direction with a 8th at Chicago and 3rd last week at New Hampshire. Look for a big day out of the #18 on Sunday afternoon. *Update* Kyle didn't practice well in the fist two practices(28th/27th) but I expect him and the team to get it tuned by Sunday.
Upper Tier Value: Jimmie Johnson ($9,300)
No one races at Dover like the six time Sprint Cup champion. He comes with 10 career wins and 20 total Top 10 finishes in just 29 races. The recent track history has looked even better as he has recorded four wins and seven Top 10's in the last 10 races here with a series leading 1,174 laps led during that five year stretch. The price is very affordable at the bottom of the top tier where the #48 will be safe in all formats.
Mid Tier Value: Ryan Newman ($7,300)
Newman has seen his price take a huge hit after 19th and 20th place finishes in the first two races of the Chase. After missing the playoffs this year he has also been a it of a forgotten man that seen low 10-14% ownership last week. He makes an excellent play in any format this week in Dover. He has three career wins here and although he hasn't seen as much success lately he came out and was 4th and 3rd in the first two practices and will start the race in the 19th position. Tremendous value for any format this week.
Also Consider: Jeff Gordon ($8,400)
