BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/Flex
ANALYSIS: Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard quietly had a string of serviceable games to end the 2023 season, taking over lead RB duties after fellow RB Miles Sanders failed to produce anything on the ground. Hubbard produced nicely in Week 2 (when given more opportunities than in Week 1).
Hubbard rushed 10 times for 64 yards (6.4 YPC) and added four catches on five targets for 12 yards in the Panthers' Week 2 loss to the Chargers. Hubbard also finished with 10+ PPR fantasy points in the last seven games of the 2023 season. He's a decent-floor, low-ceiling RB, and a solid fill-in for flex/RB3 spots.
Look at this work of art. Excellent push up front for Chuba Hubbard to get a decent gain.
20+ touches for 30, imo. I will preach on it until it happens. pic.twitter.com/gl3NlJLIx0

The Panthers signed a slew of offensive linemen this offseason to shore up one of the worst OL units of the league in 2023, and it's paid dividends. Both the run and pass blocking have significantly improved, and Hubbard has had better gaps to run through in 2024.
Sanders isn't much of a threat to Hubbard's game. More importantly, the Panthers benched QB Bryce Young, who was easily the worst starting QB in the league last year (and this year), and veteran Andy Dalton should provide a boost to the offense as a whole.
Hubbard isn't the most exciting player to start, but if you don't have better options, he's a solid bet to get 10+ points again and not be dead weight in your lineup.
