ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson is coming off his best game of the season, catching five of his seven targets for 94 yards and a touchdown in the team's Thanksgiving Day victory over the Detroit Lions.
Quarterback Jordan Love seems to have come alive in recent weeks, which has upped the ceiling for Green Bay's entire offense. Watson, who had just one touchdown all season after Week 10, has found the end zone in back-to-back weeks.
There's been a lot of talk about Watson's disappointing second NFL season and the improving play of rookie wide receiver Jayden Reed, who represents a potential threat to Watson's role. However, the fact that Watson led all Green Bay wide receivers in snaps this week is a good sign. Reed is getting on the field more often than before as well, but as long as Watson is playing 80% or more of the Packers' snaps, Reed shouldn't be too much of a threat to his production.
Available in almost 40% of leagues right now, Christian Watson is a must-add in 10-team leagues because of his recent uptick in performance and the growth of Green Bay's passing attack.
