Christian Scott is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 15 (2024). Target Christian Scott as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Stash in Standard Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: Mid-July
ANALYSIS: New York Mets starting pitching prospect Christian Scott could be nearing a return to the major leagues and is worth stashing in all standard leagues.
Mets skipper Carlos Mendoza told the media on June 25 that Scott has a “good chance” to return to the big leagues as the Mets are currently in the middle of a difficult 17 games in 17 days.
The Florida product held his own in his major league debut earlier this season with a 3.90 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and a 6:25 BB:K ratio. He looked great in his first two starts, allowing just four earned runs across 12 ⅓ frames with 14 total punchouts. However, he ran into some trouble in his later outings which inflated his ratios.
Paul Skenes will rightfully steal the show today, but Christian Scott out here making the Braves hitters look silly.

In Triple-A this season, the 25-year-old showcased elite strikeout potential with 55 in just 42 ⅔ innings of work. In addition, he held a stellar 0.97 WHIP with a solid 2.76 ERA.
The right-hander can provide high-upside strikeout production and could even be in line to receive several wins pitching on the red-hot Mets.
