Christian Moore is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 21 (2024). Target Christian Moore as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Stash in Dynasty/Keeper Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: 2025 (Possibly September 2024)
ANALYSIS: Lately, it seems there might be no human on the planet right now that’s swinging a hotter bat than Los Angeles Angels, 2024 first-round draft pick, Christian Moore. The Angels selected Moore with the eighth overall pick in this year’s draft and the 21-year-old second baseman has been completely balling out in the minor leagues.
After spending only two games with the Single-A Inland Empire 66ers, going 6-for-11 with two doubles, a home run, and six RBI, Moore was bumped up to the Double-A Rocket City Trash Pandas, where his blistering start has erupted into a five-alarm blaze. In the nine minor league games he’s played, Moore is slashing a ridiculous .556/.590/1.111, he’s got six HRs, 13 RBI, and a jaw-dropping 1.701 OPS. Oh, and by the way, he’s only struck out FIVE times in 39 plate appearances!

For fantasy managers in keeper or dynasty leagues looking to get a jump on next season, Moore is a must-stash and hold. For those more focused on the present, you can let him hang on your waiver wire for a bit longer. Keep in mind though, just last year, these same Angels fast-tracked Nolan Schanuel to the majors in under six weeks after the draft, despite him only playing in 21 games, so anything is possible.
