POSITIONAL VALUE: WR30
ANALYSIS: Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk has had a rough start to the 2024 NFL season. The veteran is the WR71, averaging only 5.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. By comparison, Brian Thomas Jr. is the WR31, averaging 10.1 fantasy points per game over the first three weeks.
Kirk had his best game of the year in Week 3, totaling eight receptions on 10 targets for 79 receiving yards and 11.9 fantasy points with Evan Engram out of the lineup. However, he could have had a better performance but dropped an end zone target that should have been a touchdown.

While the veteran wide receiver has struggled over the first few weeks, Kirk is a solid flex option or WR3 in Week 4 against the Houston Texans. The AFC South division leaders have surrendered 28.7 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the 11th-most in the NFL.
Furthermore, Houston has given up at least 31.1 fantasy points and two touchdowns to wide receivers in every game this season when not facing a rookie quarterback. Kirk has top-20 upside this week if Engram misses his third consecutive game with a hamstring injury.
