ANALYSIS:  When it comes to top-heavy depth charts at the wide receiver position, the Houston Texans must be close to leading the way. It happens when all you have is Brandin Cooks as your WR1 and then a bunch of no-name guys to fill the rest of the slots. One of those unknowns is Chris Moore, only maybe instead of "is" we should say "was" after last TNF matchup with Philly.

Houston lost that game but Moore surely came out on the winning side of things back then. Of course, the fact that all he had to deal with was Phillip Dorsett and some combination of Teagan Quitoriano/O.J. Howard/Brevin Jordan helped. When Cooks is back playing the targets will definitely dry a bit, but Moore has done enough to merit some looks going forward.

Moore has only appeared in five games this season but he's coming off his best of the year to date. Last TNF also marked the second of back-to-back scoring games for Moore, who has now two TDs over the 2022 season. Moore caught 4-of-5 targets against the Eagles on Thursday, racking up 43 yards and putting up a score.

Moore's 14.5 PPR points on Thursday bested his season-high of 10.0 earned in Week 7 when he played for the last time (2-of-4 receiving, 20 yards, 1 TD). Moore's numbers have stayed constant all season long with the exception of Week 4 (zero fantasy points, two targets) with an average of 2+ receptions on 4 targets for around 28 yards per game.

More interesting, though, is the fact that Moore has been on the field for more than 31 snaps in all games he's played while getting snap shares at-or-above 50% every time no matter the WR competition on the Texans' DC in any of those weeks.

Don't chase Moore crazily in any league other than the deepest ones, but grab some shares if you're needy at the WR position or just to deploy him in the FLEX if you need some warm bodies while navigating the bye weeks.
