ANALYSIS: As ridiculous as it sounds, Chris Hogan is the only Jets' wideout to have played in all four games of the season so far in 2020. He's also the only WR to finish each of those matches with at least 51 snaps, logging a monster 68 this last Thursday against Denver. Only WR Jeff Smith topped that mark with 73 himself, although Hogan has been way more consistent with his four games played compared to Smith's debut last week.
Hogan didn't have the best of games in Week 4, though. He has had an up-and-down year through four games, scoring 1 PPR point, then 13.5, a goose egg, and 6.3 points this past TNF. But he's spending a lot of time lining up on the field while getting a good volume of targets. He's averaging almost 6 targets and 3 receptions per game (he finished 4-of-8 in W4) and has 11 receptions on the year for 98 yards combined in those four matches.
With multiple players down to injury in the Jets offense, Hogan will undoubtedly keep a role in the team going forward. Jamison Crowder returned to the field last week, and Breshad Perriman should do the same in W5, freeing Hogan a bit taking defenders from his coverage. He won't turn into a go-to weapon any time soon, but if you plan in deeper leagues you might find FLEX appeal in him on certain favorable matchups.
