ANALYSIS: Whether you need a tight end on your fantasy team or not, Chris Herndon IV is a waiver wire target that you can pick up now and benefit from in just a few weeks. After starting the season with a suspension, we won't see Herndon on the field until Week 6 where the Jets take on the Cowboys. We saw that Herdon put together a solid rookie campaign in 2018 after he started clicking with Sam Darnold. The Jets are in desperate need for a play-maker not named Le'Veon Bell, and Herndon has a great chance to be that guy.
If you're a team that has been streaming tight ends this year, Herndon is the perfect waiver wire target for you. Even if you aren't streaming tight ends, he's definitely worth picking up if you can afford the roster spot. As someone who is currently only 12% owned, savvy fantasy owners, should look to pick up Herndon now where they can and get a jump on their opponents.
