BALLER MOVE: Sit in 12-Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4
ANALYSIS: After the Bengals traded Joe Mixon to the Texans in March, Chase Brown became a popular sleeper among fantasy gamers, with many envisioning the second-year back taking over Cincinnati's backfield.
Instead, it was a disappointing season opener for Brown, who only garnered three carries for 11 yards and added three catches for 12 yards in a 16-10 loss.
On the other hand, veteran Zack Moss was Cincy's lead back, seeing nine carries and two catches while out-snapping Brown 31 to 16. Moss also found the end zone for the Bengals' only touchdown of the afternoon.
Many fantasy football analysts believe #Bengals running back Chase Brown will be a breakout player this season. Despite the odds being stacked against him, Chase is already living his own football fantasy.

In Week 2, the Bengals will look to shake off their disappointing Week 1 performance as they head on the road to face off against the Chiefs.
Not only is the Kansas City defense tough against the run (just the 23rd-most fantasy points per game against running backs in 2023) but this game could get out of hand in a hurry if the Bengals play like they did in Week 1. That would not set up a run-friendly game script.
With Zac Taylor and the coaching staff content to give the majority of the work at running back to Moss, it is tough to trust Brown in starting lineups this weekend. He is still a nice stash in 12-team leagues but he should not be getting off fantasy benches at this time.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically. Not every WR is like this, though, […]
