The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval on Saturday afternoon in preparation for the Bank of America ROVAL 400 on Sunday.
The field was split into two groups for this practice session.
Below you'll find the two practice groups, key notes from the practice session and the practice speeds for all drivers.
Important Practice Notes
Kyle Larson - Kyle Larson hit the wall during practice and had to bring his No. 5 Chevrolet to the garage. His Hendrick Motorsports team will have to bring out the backup car for the race on Sunday, and Larson won't be able to post a qualifying lap. He will start from the rear on Sunday.
Tyler Reddick - The No. 45 Toyota was blazing fast in practice and Tyler Reddick really liked his race car. He had the second-fastest overall lap and had the best five- and 10-lap averages.
Zane Smith - Zane Smith is back for his eighth NASCAR Cup Series start this season. He will be driving the No. 38 Ford for Front Row Motorsports. Smith also raced at Sonoma (another road course) earlier this year and came away with a 34th-place finish.
