The NASCAR Cup Series ran the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday evening, with Christopher Bell being declared the winner after a controversial decision to end the race early due to rain.
When it came to Green Flag Speed, Ryan Blaney actually ranked best in that category, but that deserves an asterisk because Blaney wrecked out of the race, and that can skew Green Flag Speed numbers. Race-winner, Christopher Bell, was second-fastest in Green Flag Speed.
Of the top-five finishers, Tyler Reddick was the lowest-ranking in Green Flag Speed. He was 13th-fastest in the statistic but finished fourth. A big part of this is because Reddick had to start the race from the rear and also had a pass-through penalty, which hurt his Green Flag Speed.
