Every week in College Football DFS offers something a bit different, but this week may be the most exciting weekend yet. Although there may not be marquee games in the rankings, there is a perfect combination of known quantities and a group of lesser teams that we do not see on the slate every week.
Further, the pricing makes it so there should be very little overlap in the plays this week and should make for a fun GPP slate. In cash games, look for the more well-known teams to rise to the top, giving an advantage to lesser-known teams such as North Texas and Navy.

CFB DFS Quarterback Rankings
QB | Cash Rankings Per $ | QB | GPP Rankings Per $
1 | Chandler Morris | 1 | Will Howard
2 | Will Howard | 2 | Gevani McCoy
3 | Riley Leonard | 3 | Chandler Moris
4 | Blake Horvath | 4 | Riley Leonard
5 | Behren Morton | 5 | Jacurri Brown
6 | Josh Hoover | 6 | Luke Altmeyer
7 | Jake Retzlaff | 7 | Behren Morton
8 | Jalen Milroe | 8 | Jalen Milroe
9 | Jaxson Dart | 9 | Blake Horvath
10 | Gevani McCoy | 10 | Josh Hoover |
As noted above, this slate has all kinds of interesting plays, and that starts at quarterback. Will Howard and Chandler Morris figure to jump out as cash-game plays, simply because of their incredibly consistent performances thus far. However, stars like Jalen Milroe and Riley Leonard will continue to be highly effective plays with their rushing ability.
In GPPs, Gevani McCoy comes into this contest dirt cheap and off a few huge games. The loss of one of his running backs also helps his value along with being slight road underdogs. A few other interesting names on this list are Jacurri Brown from UCF and Luke Altmeyer from Illinois. These plays are more GPP-based as both have shown some inconsistencies; however, they could also pop for massive outings as we have seen before.

CFB DFS Running Back Rankings
RB | Cash Rankings Per $ | RB | GPP Rankings Per $
1 | Marcus Carroll | 1 | Makhi Hughes
2 | Makhi Hughes | 2 | Marcus Carroll
3 | LJ Martin | 3 | Darius Taylor
4 | Quintrevion Wisner | 4 | RJ Harvey
5 | Tahj Brooks | 5 | LJ Martin
6 | Justice Ellison | 6 | Quintrevion Wisner
7 | Darius Taylor | 7 | Anthony Hankerson
8 | RJ Harvey | 8 | Josh McCray
9 | Anthony Hankerson | 9 | Tahj Brooks
10 | Josh McCray | 10 | Eli Heidenreich |
Running back is also a fun position this week, but also a bit injury-driven. Assuming Nate Noel sits this week, Marcus Carroll will be mega chalk in a nice role and a low price tag. It is also easy this week to get to the likes of bell-cow backs like Darius Taylor and Tahj Brooks, who are great cash-game plays on any slate.
GPPs offer several different options, including punting both running back slots to load up on quarterback and wide receiver. In general, it is hard to be a "sneaky" play from a school like Texas, but it is worth noting that Jaydon Blue had exactly zero carries last week and it appears that Quintrevion Wisner is the true lead back. Also, be on the lookout for the Navy offense, as it is hard to pin down who will get the production week to week, but its option system can produce monster stat lines.
CFB DFS Wide Receiver Rankings
WR | Cash Rankings Per $ | WR | GPP Rankings Per $
1 | DT Sheffield | 1 | Jack Bech
2 | Tez Johnson | 2 | DT Sheffield
3 | Emeka Egbuka | 3 | Evan Stewart
4 | Denzel Boston | 4 | Jeremiah Smith
5 | Jeremiah Smith | 5 | Ryan Williams
6 | Evan Stewart | 6 | Tez Johnson
7 | Germie Bernard | 7 | Tre Harris
8 | Ryan Williams | 8 | Daniel Jackson
9 | Darius Lassiter | 9 | Luther Burden III
10 | Kaden Prather | 10 | Trent Walker |
At the wideout spots, there is some high-tier value, which should group the usage a big in cash games. Evan Stewart is likely to be the chalk for a high-octane Oregon offense, and a still-too-cheap price tag. One look at the box scores should also vault DT Sheffield to the top as he has back-to-back games over 38 fantasy points.
In GPPs, this is a bit of a risk, but Jack Bech is going to be underutilized for his upside. His last two outings have combined for only seven receptions, but before that, he had 27 over a three-game stretch. Also, expect the Ohio State and Oregon receivers to be highly played as they have two of the highest team totals on the board.
One note on receivers, as three of the top four deep-ball defenses are on this slate. Minnesota, Oregon, and Oregon State are all elite against deep threats. This means stars like Tai Felton, Pat Bryant, and Jack Endries are not the elite plays they would be on most slates.
