CFB DFS Rankings for Week 8 - Daily Fantasy College Football (Saturday, 10/19/24)

Now that we have settled into the season, there are a lot more knowns than unknowns as we head into Week 8 of the college football season. Although late injuries are always expected in college football, the only question mark we appear to have going into this week is the health of Haynes King at Georgia Tech.

We also have a few fresh teams popping up on the main slates that have not been as mainstream. The likes of undefeated Indiana, a high-tempo Maryland team, and a new-look Baylor offense could provide some nice value to get in the top-end plays we all know.

CFB DFS Quarterback Rankings

Sawyer Robertson is not on the top of most people's lists of well-known college quarterbacks, but since taking over a few weeks ago, he has been a fantasy stud. With 92 pass attempts in the last two outings, it is hard to get away from his price in cash games. He would pair nicely with a Ward, Milroe, or Leonard in the Superflex as those players all come with incredibly high floors.

In GPPs, Cam Ward may be a semi-low-played option as his price is prohibitive this week unless you find some value. On the low end, Dylan Raiola has not had a huge game under center yet, but Nebraska may need to put up points, and Maryland's defense gives up 279 passing yards per game.

CFB DFS Running Back Rankings

Despite a price jump in the last few weeks, Isaac Brown remains at the top of the cash-game rankings. He was minted as the RB1 on the depth chart this week and faces a Miami team giving up 169 yards per game on the ground. Keep an eye on Nate Noel, as he missed last week, likely due to the opponent, and could be a sneaky play in cash games.

On the GPP side, Dylan Sampson will likely see lower ownership this weekend due to a perceived matchup, but Alabama is only 47th in the country against the run this year. Donovan Edwards is the clear RB2 on Michigan right now, but something tells me it is just a matter of time until he has a monster game at a price that is too low for his ability.

CFB DFS Wide Receiver Rankings

This week may be a good one to try and pair up your receivers with your quarterback in cash games as Restrepo, Sarratt, and Prather all figure to have quarterbacks who put up solid cash-game numbers. Ryan Williams is getting all of the hype for Alabama, but Germie Bernard continues to put together a solid season and his price just keeps falling, too cheap for that offense.

Tai Felton had an off game last week, and at his price, will likely not be used much this week. However, there are very few players who would see 15-20 targets in any given game, giving him a massive upside in GPPs. If you are going cheap, Bernard again profiles well in GPPs, and TJ Moore had a bit of a coming out last week for Clemson and has been elevated to starter on the depth chart.
