Hard to believe, but we are hitting the end of the college football season already! Some teams will be vying for the College Football Playoff, some will be vying for a bowl bid, and some will be starting new players in the hopes that they help the team next season. These are all things to keep in mind when playing College Football DFS the last few weeks of the regular season.
Overall, the slate is fairly balanced, and with a few top teams having a bye, or pseudo-byes (looking at you Alabama), there are not a lot of high-priced players on the board. This should make for a fairly balanced and even build this week in both cash games and GPPs.

8 | Garrett Nussmeier | 8 | Kevin Jennings
9 | Cade Klubnik | 9 | Jayden Maiava
10 | Quinn Ewers | 10 | Tyler Shough |
If you have not played a lot of college fantasy football this year, the names at the top of the rankings this week may be a bit surprising. Fernando Mendoza and Sawyer Robertson did not come into the year with much praise, but over the last few weeks, they have been consistently good for California and Baylor, respectively. Both get plus matchups this week with teams that like to push the tempo and often have lapses on defense.
In GPPs, expect the big name of Shedeur Sanders to be popular, and although he is a good play, he does not quite have the upside for being one of the top-priced options on the board. Meanwhile, as mentioned above, a team like USC has made a change in hopes it will help next year. Jayden Maiava had a nice year last year for UNLV and is in a quarterback-friendly offense, a good GPP risk this week.

CFB DFS Running Back Rankings
RB | Cash Rankings Per $ | RB | GPP Rankings Per $
1 | Isaac Brown | 1 | Bryson Washington
2 | Woody Marks | 2 | Isaac Brown
3 | Makhi Hughes | 3 | Brashard Smith
4 | Phil Mafah | 4 | Woody Marks
5 | Brashard Smith | 5 | Kaytron Allen
6 | Kaytron Allen | 6 | Phil Mafah
7 | LeQuint Allen | 7 | LeQuint Allen
8 | Desmond Reid | 8 | Makhi Hughes
9 | Jeremiyah Love | 9 | Desmond Reid
10 | Bryson Washington | 10 | Jadan Baugh |
To keep the theme going at running back, the top-end options this week are not as strong as in previous weeks, but the middle tier of backs should be where the bulk of the plays come from. Isaac Brown, Woody Marks, Makhi Hughes, and Phil Mafah have all been incredibly consistent this year and all are viable in cash. After blistering starts, Desmond Reid and Jeremiyah Love have cooled a bit, but if you find some value, they are still viable.
In GPPs, there are some nice boom-or-bust options at the top. Bryson Washington has looked like a Heisman finalist for two of the last three weeks, but also mixed in some absolute duds.
I am also keeping an eye on the injury list; if Nicholas Singleton is ruled out or is limited for Penn State, expect Kaytron Allen to get a massive workload against one of the worst teams in the FBS in Purdue. Also, keep an eye on Florida, as it has been mixing in backs the last few weeks to varying success.
CFB DFS Wide Receiver Rankings
WR | Cash Rankings Per $ | WR | GPP Rankings Per $
1 | LaJohntay Wester | 1 | Ja'Corey Brooks
2 | Ja'Corey Brooks | 2 | LaJohntay Wester
3 | Andrew Armstrong | 3 | Tyler Warren
4 | Makai Lemon | 4 | Ashtyn Hawkins
5 | Tyler Warren | 5 | Jackson Meeks
6 | Elic Ayomanor | 6 | Antonio Williams
7 | Ashtyn Hawkins | 7 | Makai Lemon
8 | Mario Williams | 8 | Kyren Lacy
9 | Antonio Williams | 9 | Nyziah Hunter
10 | Jackson Meeks | 10 | Travis Hunter |
The position I am least excited about this week is receiver. The top of the board has been solid, but not unstoppable, while the middle of the pack has been consistently average.
This will again be a nice group to build from the middle of the pack and stack with your preferred quarterback options. Wester and Brooks stand out in cash games because of their target share, while Lemon has been consistent, but now also has a new quarterback under center.
In GPPs, it feels like a double-stack weekend with your quarterback. Baylor should be able to put up yards against WVU, and its receiving corps is cheap, but most are incredibly hit-or-miss. The same can be said for the groups at Syracuse, USC, and Clemson. Travis Hunter feels overpriced, but this may also be a week that no one plays him and he tried to cement his Heisman candidacy.
