Another weekend of college football is upon us, and we have some exciting picks for Saturday's main slate. We have some exciting high-flying offenses in Ohio State, UCF, and TCU along with a few games that have that feel of a high paced track meet. Along with that we have an elite tier of cash game running backs that should be locked into cash games.
On a positive note, this feels like the first weekend in a while we seemingly do not have a lot of injury questions coming in. Adrian Martinez and and Tyler Scott are the only real top level players who are in doubt this weekend. The one issue with that is there is no true minimum salary options we can confidently use.
In this article below, you will find my CFB DFS lineup picks for Week 9 (Saturday, October 29th) via my positional college football rankings. CFB DFS Quarterback Rankings
QB | GPP Rankings Per $ | QB | Cash Rankings Per $
1 | Malik Cunningham | 1 | Bo Nix
2 | John Rhys Plumlee | 2 | C.J. Stroud
3 | Max Duggan | 3 | Sam Hartman
4 | Spencer Sanders | 4 | Max Duggan
5 | C.J. Stroud | 5 | Malik Cunningham
6 | K.J. Jefferson | 6 | John Rhys Plumlee
7 | Jordan Travis | 7 | Spencer Sanders
8 | Garrett Shrader | 8 | K.J. Jefferson
9 | Ben Bryant | 9 | Casey Thompson
10 | Sean Clifford | 10 | Jordan Travis |
We appear to have turned a corner in the career of Bo Nix. At one point he was a GPP only play, but after week one, Nix has been one of the best quarterbacks in the country, you can almost pencil him for at least 30 points. There are also a ton of dual threat quarterbacks who provide stability in cash games led by Cunningham, Plumlee and Thompson.
For tournaments, Cunningham provides an interesting option as he has not been the super elite option many expected thus far, but also has a match-up with Wake Forest that really has the feel of a track meet. Don’t be afraid to throw a few shares of Sean Clifford in your GPP builds as well. He is not consistent, but coming off a huge game last week, he will need to have a huge game to keep Penn St. close.

CFB DFS Running Back Rankings
RB | GPP Rankings Per $ | RB | Cash Rankings Per $
1 | Mo Ibrahim | 1 | Kendre Miller
2 | Raheim Sanders | 2 | Mo Ibrahim
3 | Kendre Miller | 3 | Chase Brown
4 | Jayden Ott | 4 | Raheim Sanders
5 | CJ Donaldson | 5 | Jaydn Ott
6 | Jovante Barnes | 6 | Eric Gray
7 | Chase Brown | 7 | Lawrance Toafili
8 | Nicholas Singleton | 8 | Tank Bigsby
9 | Isaiah Bowser | 9 | Bucky Irving
10 | Charles McClelland | 10 | Isaiah Bowser |
The entire running back group feels underpriced this week. With Ibrahim, Miller, Brown and Sanders all $7,500 or less, it should be easy to fit at least two into your cash game lineups. After the top group of four there is a drop off for pure safety in cash games.
For GPP’s, the top group still remains the cream of the crop, but there are more exciting options. Jovante Barnes has been the head of the RBBC for the last few weeks in Oklahoma, and has big play ability. Also take a look at CJ Donaldson who returned from injury last week and was not great, but could round back into his early season form now on week two of returning.
CFB DFS Wide Receiver Rankings
WR | GPP Rankings Per $ | WR | Cash Rankings Per $
1 | Quentin Johnson | 1 | Trey Palmer
2 | Ryan O'Keefe | 2 | Xavier Hutchinson
3 | Bryson Green | 3 | A.T. Perry
4 | Troy Franklin | 4 | Emeka Egbuka
5 | Marvin Harrison Jr. | 5 | Oronde Gadsden
6 | Kobe Hudson | 6 | Michael Mayer
7 | Trey Palmer | 7 | Bryson Green
8 | Julian Fleming | 8 | Bryce Ford-Wheaton
9 | Xavier Hutchinson | 9 | Mitchell Tinsley
10 | Matt Landers | 10 | Isaiah Williams |
This is one of the more entertaining groups we have had throughout the season. Palmer and Hutchinson are target monsters which puts them at the top of the cash game plays. Ohio State is always interesting because they have a prolific pass attack, but with the return of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the room is full meaning all could lose some value in cash games.
In GPP’s the resurgence of Max Duggan has vaulted Quentin Johnson into elite upside territory again. We will also be heavily targeting the UCF pass game as they are too cheap in this game. Remember, Cincinnati lost two of the best corners in college football this year, they are not the same elite defense.
