DraftKings gives us another 15 games today, but the split is a little weird tonight. The main slate is nine games and the night slate is six games. We will concentrate on the six-game night slate this time around. The main slate had some interesting matchups in it, but the night slate might be just as good even though there are fewer games.
The night also tips with a massive Big East tilt with Xavier visiting the Birdcage. Missouri heads to College Station to take on the Aggies. Michigan heads to West Lafayette to tangle with Purdue. Houston heads out to Provo to take on BYU in another monster Big 12 matchup. The undercard features TCU in Stillwater. We end this in Blacksburg with Boston College taking on the Hokies.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/23/24, starting at 8:30 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Wade Taylor IV, Texas A&M ($9,000)
Some will look at his 31.75 DraftKings points against LSU and say it was a disappointment. That's fair after he had back-to-back games in the 50s. However, it doesn't tell the whole story. Taylor put up 31.75 DraftKings points in just 22 minutes thanks to foul trouble. He took 17 shots in 22 minutes. Those are Allen Iverson numbers. Taylor has the volume that no others have, which makes his ceiling high. His sometimes inefficient shooting means the floor is kind of scary.
Braden Smith, Purdue ($7,700)
Smith hasn't scored in double figures since the loss to Nebraska on January 9, yet he still has at least 29 DraftKings points in all three games since then. That's my kind of guy! Smith had 29 assists, 16 rebounds, three steals, and a block in those three games to keep his DFS players happy. Smith has good upside here since Michigan is away from home, and therefore loses Dug McDaniel. His floor is about 25 DraftKings points, but I expect him closer to the ceiling tonight.
Trevian Tennyson, TCU ($6,100)
Tennyson has scored in double figures in five of the six games since he joined the starting lineup. An abysmal 0-for-8 performance against Oklahoma is the only game in which he went under. Tennyson's offensive chops keep him in the lineup, but he is kind of a defensive liability. Tennyson is a solid rebounder and has been dishing out a few more assists of late. He has a high ceiling in a favorable matchup tonight.
Jaelin Llewellyn, Michigan ($4,000)
Llewellyn drew the start in place of McDaniel in the first game of his road suspension on January 11 and turned in nine points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 33 minutes of playing time. If he's anywhere near those numbers tonight, he's the best bargain on the slate.
Also consider: Baylor Scheierman, Creighton ($8,500); Sean Pedulla, Virginia Tech ($7,800); LJ Cryer, Houston ($6,600); Tamar Bates, Missouri ($6,200); Hunter Cattoor, Virginia Tech ($5,900); Jace Carter, Texas A&M ($5,100); John-Michael Wright, Oklahoma State ($4,100)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Zach Edey, Purdue ($11,000)
Edey has 182.5 DraftKings points over the last three games alone. Fade at your own risk. He is in a league of his own right now.
Andersson Garcia, Texas A&M ($6,700)
Garcia has long been known for his tough defense and outstanding work on the boards. He has added a little scoring to the mix lately. Garcia has scored in double figures in each of the last two games, netting him a double-double in both. His floor is really high thanks to the defense and rebounding. He should be able to at least court a double-double against Missouri tonight.
Robbie Beran, Virginia Tech ($4,500)
Beran is an efficient scorer and solid on the boards, but often his minutes are limited due to foul trouble. Still, he is priced low enough that there is little risk involved. Beran has scored at least 16 DraftKings points in four straight games and eight of the last nine. This is the kind of value we need if we plan on using Edey.
Also consider: Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($8,700); Olivier Nkamhoua, Michigan ($7,700); Aly Khalifa, BYU ($6,200); Gytis Nemeiksa, Xavier ($5,800); Mason Gillis, Purdue ($4,700); Jesus Carralero Martin, Missouri ($4,600)
