The night slate tonight incorporates some Mountain West action into an old Big 12 rivalry and some ACC flavor. We have a little bit of everything on this one.
We start in Tallahassee with Pitt in town. SMU is in Charlottesville to face the Wahoos. Cincinnati is visiting the Rockies for a date with the Ralphies. Purdue is all the way out in Seattle to face Washington. Texas heads to the Lloyd Noble Center for the Red River Shootout on the hardwood. We close this out in Vegas with Utah State facing UNLV.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 1/15/25, starting at 9 p.m. EST. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Braden Smith, Purdue ($10.6K)
How good has Purdue's Braden Smith been this year?
In the history of Men's College Basketball, there has been just 1 major conference player to post 15 PPG - 9 APG - 4 RPG - 2 SPG.
His name? Jason Kidd. Smith would become the 2nd.
He is currently averaging 15/9.2/4.6/2.1 ?

It's wild when you think that Smith's senior season might be even more special than Zach Edey's last year. Smith isn't as imposing as Edey, but he is infinitely more fun to watch. Auburn and Penn State are the only teams to hold Smith under 38 DraftKings points since the end of November. It's wild to think that Purdue's schedule got easier when it moved to conference play.
Ian Martinez, Utah State ($7.4K)
Martinez is the best pure shooter in the Mountain West. He has scored in double figures in every game this season and only has one game under 23 DraftKings points. He's about as consistent as they come, making him an ideal cash piece.
Chuck Harris, SMU ($5.9K)
Harris rejoined the starting lineup after getting smoked by Duke 11 days ago. In those two games, he has 58.25 DraftKings points in 61 minutes. That's a great return on the price. Harris has played much better as a starter than a bench player in his career. Hopefully, this move sticks.
C.J. Cox, Purdue ($5.5K)
Cox couldn't miss against Nebraska, scoring 23 points in just 22 minutes. Was it a product of the blowout win? Maybe, but who says Purdue won't blow out Washington? Who says Cox won't get more looks even under normal circumstances after that performance? He's an intriguing GPP option tonight.
Ishan Sharma, Virginia ($3.9K)
The freshman got his first career start against Stanford over the weekend. The Hoos still lost, but Sharma put together a solid outing. He didn't do anything to stand out, but he was better than what was there before. I'm a sucker for a value pick who plays upward of 30 minutes.
Also consider: Jaland Lowe, Pittsburgh ($9.8K); Mason Falslev, Utah State ($8K); Dedan Thomas Jr., UNLV ($7.5K); Tre Johnson, Texas ($7.2K); Julian Hammond III, Colorado ($7K); Jaden Henley, UNLV ($6.2K); Dexter Akanno, Utah State ($5.1K); Javon Ruffin, Colorado ($4.6K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Great Osobor, Washington ($8.8K)
Over the last 25 seasons, only one player has reached at least 50 points, 50 rebounds, 15 steals & five blocks through his first four games with any D-I program:

— Greg Harvey (@BetweenTheNums) November 22, 2024
The great start gave way to struggles in December for Osobor, but he has put together a couple of big-time games in January (unfortunately with a couple of clunkers, too). I'm scared of what Purdue might do to Osobor, but he did great against Michigan's trees over the weekend. He's a GPP play only due to his volatile nature this year.
Trey Kaufman-Renn, Purdue ($7.9K)
Kaufman-Renn is capable of some big games, but with Braden Smith playing like the National Player of the Year, TKR's stats have taken a bit of a backseat. Still, Kaufman-Renn is so active on the court that he can't help but rack up ancillary stats. He's a solid play even without the big upside.
Dillon Mitchell, Cincinnati ($6.1K)
His performances from the foul line would make Shaquille O'Neal blush, but every other aspect of his game passes the eye test. Mitchell was held in check by Kansas and Baylor, but Colorado doesn't have the size up front to push him around. Mitchell should at least flirt with 30 DraftKings points at a very affordable price.
Mohamed Wague, Oklahoma ($3.9K)
Wague turned in his best performance of the season off the bench in the loss to Georgia. Wague's production has been very sporadic, but he has outplayed Glenn Taylor Jr. in recent games, playing 29 minutes over the last two games. Oklahoma needs all the help it can get right now. We should see a little more of Wague tonight.
Also consider: Malique Ewin, Florida State ($9K); Matt Cross, SMU ($8.2K); Jalon Moore, Oklahoma ($7.7K); Taylor Bol Bowen, Florida State ($6.1K); Caleb Furst, Purdue ($4.8K); Tucker Anderson, Utah State ($3.7K)
