We have another 16 games across two slates tonight on DraftKings, but the split isn't as even as we would like. We have a full slate of a dozen games on the main slate when DraftKings could just as easily leave the 9 p.m. tips on the late slate to even it out a little. I'm not going to complain much. Basketball is basketball! Seton Hall hosts Providence and Georgia hosts LSU to start off this massive slate.
Next up we have Maryland in Iowa City to take on the Hawkeyes. Miami heads up to Indiana to take on the Irish. The Pack are in Charlottesville to take on Virginia. We have the Iron Bowl on wood as Auburn heads to Tuscaloosa. Mississippi State heads to the swamp to take on the Gators. Villanova heads up to Queens to take on St. John's. Arkansas is in Oxford to take on Ole Miss. Marquette heads down I-94 to Chicago to take on DePaul. We have another battle in Chicago between Illinois and Northwestern. We end this with the basketball version of Farmageddon in Ames.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/24/24, starting at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Devin Carter, Providence ($9,800)
This is going to be a good one tonight between Carter and Kadary Richmond, but I'm still siding with Carter. He has at least 40 DraftKings points in six of the last seven games for the Friars. Richmond is coming off a triple-double against Creighton, but that was in triple overtime. I'll take Carter's consistent production against a tired Seton Hall team. Providence was doing cardio in a 38-point win against DePaul.
Terrence Shannon Jr., Illinois ($7,700)
Shannon came off the bench in his return and still played 28 minutes in the 23-point win over Rutgers. Even if Illinois brings Shannon off the bench again, he should get around 30 minutes. 30 minutes of Shannon at this price is enticing. He has a high ceiling since he contributes in every category. There is still risk involved here since Illinois doesn't have Shannon back by choice (at least publically). Still, if they have to have him back on the team, they may as well try to win games in the process.
Josh Dix, Iowa ($5,600)
Dix started his fourth straight game in place of Patrick McCaffrey, who took a leave of absence to tend to his mental well-being. Dix has breathed life into the Iowa offense, putting up 53 points, 18 assists, 11 rebounds, and seven steals in those four games. He has at least 20 DraftKings points in all four games. McCaffrey is back in practice, so keep an eye on the starting lineup, but it may be hard for Iowa to remove Dix with the way he's playing. He should still get good minutes off the bench if it comes to that.
Zaide Lowery, Marquette ($3,600)
Both Chase Ross and Sean Jones are out again for Marquette, so that should mean another solid minutes load for Lowery. He has played 42 minutes over the last three games and scored 18 points, hauled down seven rebounds, and added an assist and two steals for good measure. While I don't usually play for blowouts, DePaul has only played two teams within 10 points since December 16. This will get ugly, which could mean 5-10 more minutes for Lowery.
Also consider: Kadary Richmond, Seton Hall ($9,400); Jahmir Young, Maryland ($8,600); Matthew Cleveland, Miami (FL) ($8,100); Markus Burton, Notre Dame ($7,600); Jabri Abdur-Rahim, Georgia ($7,100); Jalen Terry, DePaul ($6,300); Riley Kugel, Florida ($5,700); Aden Holloway, Auburn ($5,200); RJ Melendez, Georgia ($4,800); Garwey Dual, Providence ($3,900)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Tolu Smith, Mississippi State ($8,400)
Smith finally played 30 minutes over the weekend against Vanderbilt and he put up his second consecutive game with more than 40 DraftKings points. Smith is a double-double waiting to happen. We saw flashes of this last year. Now that he's completely healthy again, we are seeing a very efficient scorer who gets to the line a lot for good measure and does work on the glass. Another game of 40+ should be on the horizon tonight.
Josh Oduro, Providence ($7,900)
The Friars lost Bryce Hopkins to an ACL tear in the St. John's game, so we'll be seeing more of Oduro going forward. Oduro was an absolute monster in limited minutes against DePaul. It won't be easy against Seton Hall, but Oduro is one of the best rim protectors in the Big East and has proven to be an efficient scorer when he's not fighting with Hopkins for shots. Oduro has 37 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and five blocks in the two games without Hopkins.
Dylan Cardwell, Auburn ($5,200)
Johni Broome is the more famous piece of this revolving duo in the middle for Auburn, but Cardwell keeps producing excellent numbers in his limited court time. Broome plays around 25 minutes per game, leaving Cardwell 15-18 minutes. There's risk involved due to the lack of minutes, but Cardwell has at least 20 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. In the game that he missed the mark, Cardwell still put up 17.25 DraftKings points in just 12 minutes against Texas A&M. There's not a lot of upside here, but there isn't a lot of risk either.
Chandler Lawson, Arkansas ($4,000)
The Memphis transfer has cracked the starting lineup again for the Hogs and played 52 minutes over the last two games. Lawson is a better real-life than DFS player, but he still does well in peripheral stats even though he isn't much of a scorer. His second stint in the starting rotation has been more consistent than the first. Lawson should stick for a while, and his minutes at this price should allow him to hit value on peripherals alone.
Also consider: Julian Reese, Maryland ($8,200); Arthur Kaluma, Kansas State ($7,700); David Joplin, Marquette ($6,700); Will McNair Jr., Kansas State ($5,700); Hason Ward, Iowa State ($4,900); Zuby Ejiofor, St. John's ($4,500)
