It's the twilight of the college basketball season. What the Sweet 16 lacks in mid-majors and double-digit seeds, it makes up for in great matchups. That's not always good for DFS, but we'll make it work. Last night was a decent night. We have a few better matchups tonight, but no one with the firepower of Alabama.
We need to find some players who play big in big situations. Previous NCAA Tournament experience can come in very handy at this time of year. We have a lot of those players in action today.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings for 3/28/25, starting at 7:09 p.m. EDT. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.
Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Zakai Zeigler, Tennessee ($8.6K)

Zeigler does it all, which makes him an easy click in DFS. The lows aren't as low, and the highs can be higher when you have someone who is good at everything.
Zeigler's totals were modest against Kentucky this year, but he still managed 60.25 DraftKings points despite hitting just one of his 13 three-point attempts. If he hits a couple of those, he'll get to where we need him.
Jase Richardson, Michigan State ($6.9K)
Richardson has at least 20 DraftKings points in the last 10 games. He has emerged as the closest thing Michigan State has to a star. This is a deep team that runs nine players at least 10 minutes per game, but Richardson is still averaging 30 minutes per game in that span. He's a low-risk proposition with a decent ceiling.
Tre Holloman, Michigan State ($5.5K)
This is a good matchup for the Michigan State guards. It's easy to use them when they are playing well, anyway. Holloman doesn't get the minutes that Richardson does (in all fairness, no one else does either), but he's been one of the best scorers for the Spartans in March. He has 75 real points in the last six games. Not bad for this price!
Also consider: Chaz Lanier, Tennessee ($8K); Otega Oweh, Kentucky ($7.8K); Tre Donaldson, Michigan ($6.8K); Tahaad Pettiford, Auburn ($6.2K); Mylik Wilson, Houston ($5.1K); Jeremy Fears Jr., Michigan State ($4.9K); Roddy Gayle Jr., Michigan ($4.4K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Johni Broome, Auburn ($10.4K)

Broome went for 24 points and 13 rebounds against Danny Wolf in last year's NCAA Tournament when Wolf was with Yale. Adding another 7-footer is going to make it tough on Broome, but his ceiling is still much higher than anyone else on the slate.
J'Wan Roberts, Houston ($7K)
That is what I wanted to see. Roberts was predictably limited against SIU-Edwardsville because he wasn't needed. Houston needed him against Gonzaga and he played 32 minutes, putting up 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals. He could be in for a monster game against Purdue.
Jaemyn Brakefield, Mississippi ($5K)
Brakefield has been outstanding off the bench for the Rebels. He has scored 31 points in the first two games of this tournament despite not starting either game. Look for another strong game for Brakefield. This Ole Miss team took off when Brakefield went to the bench.
Also consider: Vladislav Goldin, Michigan ($8.8K); Andrew Carr, Kentucky ($6.6K); Chad Baker-Mazara, Auburn ($6.3K); Igor Milicic Jr., Tennessee ($5.2K); Dylan Cardwell, Auburn ($4.3K); Coen Carr, Michigan State ($4.1K)
