As has been the normal on Mondays this year, the two ESPN Big Monday games are the only games on the DraftKings slate. This is the one time per week that we can merge ourselves with the couch and watch every game on the slate. So grab a beer or six and send your wife for a girl's night out. It's Big Monday!
We begin in Charlottesville with the Hurricanes taking on the Hoos. The nightcap is Round 1 of the Sunflower Showdown at the Octagon of Doom. Not many rivalries carry the same intensity in basketball as in football, but this is one of the ones that do. Strap in, this is going to be a fun ride!
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/5/24, starting at 7 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Johnny Furphy, Kansas ($7,500)
The freshman from Australia has made a huge difference for the Jayhawks since joining the starting five against Oklahoma State on January 16. He is averaging 15.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks in six games. On top of that, Furphy has been very efficient in his scoring lately. He has only missed eight shots from the floor in the last four games in 30 attempts. Furphy seems to get better by the game. That should hold up against a K-State defense that has been spotty at best this year.
Tylor Perry, Kansas State ($6,400)
Perry was supposed to provide the scoring that the Wildcats lost with Markquis Nowell, but that hasn't come to fruition. The North Texas transfer has been an inconsistent scorer for Kansas State, sometimes disappearing from the offense entirely. His last two games have provided hope, though. Perry has scored 42 points in the last two games, including scoring 23 of the team's 53 in the loss to Oklahoma last week. Perry has significant upside for this price, but his floor is in the single digits.
Isaac McKneely, Virginia ($5,800)
McKneely is mostly a scorer, but he has been in double figures in four of his last five games and hasn't been under eight points in the 2024 calendar year. He has been a consistent scorer for the Hoos in conference season while providing a few counting stats along the way. McKneely gets enough shot volume to keep the floor consistent, but his price is a little high to be considered a value play. There is solid upside here if he gets hot. Consistent players are often overlooked on small slates like this.
Also consider: Reece Beekman, Virginia ($8,300); Matthew Cleveland, Miami ($6,600); Dajuan Harris Jr., Kansas ($6,200); Dorian Finister, Kansas State ($3,800)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Hunter Dickinson, Kansas ($8,700)
Dickinson has at least 35 DraftKings points in three straight and six of the last seven games. He is playing at a high level in conference play so far, with only Cincinnati and Central Florida holding him under 35 DraftKings points. Dickinson was in foul trouble in both of those games. If he can keep his hands to himself, we should see another strong game from him tonight.
Will McNair Jr., Kansas State ($5,500)
The Wildcats moved McNair to the bench on Saturday, but he still played as many minutes as he normally does and he was more involved in the offense. That's good news in DFS circles. We don't care if he starts or not. We only care about minutes and opportunities. McNair is priced low enough to see if this trend continues. I consider him a lock if David N'Guessan's knee is still an issue.
Jake Groves, Virginia ($4,500)
Jordan Minor is starting lately, but his perpetual foul trouble has still led to more minutes for Groves. Groves has played 50 minutes off the bench in the last two games and put up numbers close to what he did at Oklahoma last year (35 points, eight rebounds). The switch of Groves and Minor in the starting lineup has been great for both players. Expect both to continue thriving in their new roles.
Also consider: Norchad Omier, Miami ($9,100); KJ Adams Jr., Kansas ($6,700); Jordan Minor, Virginia ($5,400)
