CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/11/25)

Ryan Kalkbrenner - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks

We are back with some mid-week college hoops action this week! It's a Super Tuesday night this week with 19 games across the two slates. The 11-game main slate is the larger of the two, but we still have some great matchups in the eight-game nightcap.

We've got some big names and some great matchups today. We'll go through all of those for each slate. We'll give you the core pieces that you can build either a cash or GPP lineup with. Then we'll have some value plays to make it all fit. And for you Ricky Bobby types, we'll give you guys with a great ceiling with a low floor because..."if you ain't first, you're last."

Here are my picks across all CBB DFS slates on Tuesday, February 11 with the main slate starting at 7 p.m. Eastern on DraftKings. The late slate starts at 9 p.m. Eastern.

Today's Main Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

Miami guards vs. Syracuse

Iowa State vs. Central Florida

Syracuse vs. Miami

Marquette guards vs. DePaul

Tennessee forwards vs. Kentucky

Cincinnati forwards vs. Utah

Core Pieces:

Braden Smith, Purdue ($10.8K)

Those numbers have only gone up since that post. In the two games since, Smith has 40 points, nine rebounds, 17 assists, and seven steals. The only thing he doesn't do is block shots. Purdue played Michigan about three weeks ago. Smith erupted for 24 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds, and four steals. That was 56.75 DraftKings points.

Matthew Cleveland, Miami (FL) ($8.6K)

Cleveland has scored more than 20 points in six consecutive games and nine of the last 11. He's very efficient for a volume shooter, which is how he manages to stay so consistent. Cleveland is solid on the boards, but he doesn't stuff the stat sheet like some others do. Still, when you're starting with a floor of 20, that's strong production.

CJ Gunn, DePaul ($7.3K)

Strong defenses or not, Gunn has given the Blue Demons something that they lacked last year: a consistent scorer. Gunn has scored in double figures in nine straight games, scoring between 24 and 32 DraftKings points in every game. That's the kind of consistency you covet in a cash lineup.

Value Pieces:

Aziz Bandaogo, Cincinnati ($4.7K)

Bandaogo is an efficient scorer and strong on the boards, but his minutes have increased a bit lately. This is a nice matchup against Utah. Bandaogo has scored 25 points and hauled in a dozen rebounds in the last two games. I can live with that from a value play.

Dallan Coleman, Central Florida ($4.7K)

Coleman gets consistent minutes and has scored in double figures in DraftKings points in every game since November 22. There's no upside to speak of, but that kind of floor works in every type of build.

Divine Ugochukwu, Miami (FL) ($4.5K)

The freshman has played his way into the starting lineup lately. He has started the last three games and put up 64 DraftKings points. He is trending upward and is getting more comfortable in his new role. He has an upside that the other value plays don't have.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Johni Broome, Auburn ($11K)

This highlights what one more year will do for Broome's draft stock. You need to be able to do these things to play in the NBA in 2025. I put Broome in this section because his ceiling is higher than anyone else in the college game. His floor is lower as well, but he has at least 40 DraftKings points in every game that he has played at least 25 minutes. No one else can do that.

Joshua Jefferson, Iowa State ($9K)

This is a trend worth watching. Central Florida is playing much better basketball, but they are still getting dominated inside by opposing big men. Jefferson put up 56.75 DraftKings points in 36 minutes during the first meeting. That is his ceiling game. We could still see Jefferson somewhere in the 40s and his floor is in the 30s. Not bad for that price!

Tobe Awaka, Arizona (6.1K)

Awaka has at least 28 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. In that fifth game, he had just 6.5 DK points. He wasn't in foul trouble. He wasn't injured. He still played 19 minutes and only took one shot. That's the risk with Awaka. Sometimes he disappears even in a great matchup.

Today's Late Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

Georgia guards vs. Texas A&M

Penn State guards vs. USC

Michigan State guards vs. Indiana

Texas vs. Alabama

USC wings vs. Penn State

Kansas frontcourt vs. Colorado

Core Pieces:

Steven Ashworth, Creighton ($9.3K)

On top of that, Ashworth is a 90 percent free-throw shooter in his career. He has likely hit a game-winner against your favorite team. And he's one of the most consistent players in DFS.

Ashworth has between 32 and 40 DraftKings points in seven of the last eight games. He missed the mark in the blowout win over DePaul since he only played 27 minutes. Before this streak started, he nuked Butler for 52.5 DK points. Then the streak carries back to November 30 against Notre Dame.

Matt Cross, SMU ($7.8K)

Except for the foul-plagued 24-minute disaster against Virginia where Cross didn't score a single point, he has been outstanding since joining the starting lineup. He has at least 26 DraftKings points in every other game. That includes a plethora of good frontcourts. He just can't handle Virginia. Fortunately, SMU isn't playing Virginia tonight.

Justin Mullins, Northwestern ($5.2K)

Brooks Barnhizer and Jalen Leach are both out again. That means a ton of minutes for Mullins again. Ty Berry will also play a lot more, but Mullins is nearly $1K cheaper and you'll get more minutes and about the same production out of him. Both are viable options, but neither are slate-breakers.

Value Pieces:

D'Marco Dunn, Penn State ($4.8K)

Dunn has made a name for himself with Puff Johnson out. Johnson has been labeled as "day-to-day" for the last month with a hand injury. When he returns in anyone's guess, but it likely won't be in a large capacity. Dunn is averaging 6.8 points per game on the season. He has scored more than that in five straight, hitting double figures twice.

RJ Godfrey, Georgia ($4.5K)

Georgia has a lot of guys who don't play a lot of minutes. That is often a DFS headache, but Godfrey has scored in double figures in three straight games and his minutes have risen accordingly. We may not be able to trust this trend, but Godfrey is still cheap enough to take a chance on.

Jordan Clayton, Northwestern ($3.8K)

Clayton made his season debut on Saturday against Washington and looked good in his 26 minutes. There is reason to believe that Clayton will get a lot of minutes again with Barnhizer and Leach both sidelined. Mullins and Ty Berry aren't setting the world afire. There's a ton of potential at this price.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($10.5K)

This is the last game of national significance for Ryan Kalkbrenner in Omaha. A place that he has called home for the last five years. He put up 40 DraftKings points on UConn in Storrs on January 18. Since then he hasn't been under 37 DraftKings points and even hit 60 once. Pay up. He's worth it.

Tre Johnson, Texas ($8.5K)

It took the freshman a bit to get going, but now we're starting to see what all of the fuss is about. Johnson isn't an efficient shooter, but he is getting more comfortable with taking shots. He wasn't assertive on a team full of veterans early in the season. Now he's become a feared scorer, which is exactly the type of player you want against Alabama.

Johnson has cracked 40 DraftKings points twice this season. Both instances have come in the last 17 days. He's staring down another one of those lines tonight against an Alabama team that loves to run. This is going to be a high-scoring affair. We want the scorers.

Liam McNeeley, Connecticut ($7.6K)

McKneely missed over a month with an ankle injury, but still played 29 minutes in his return against St. John's. Predictably, he was rusty from the floor, but he was still strong enough on the boards to notch a double-double.

McNeeley missed the first game against Creighton. Ryan Kalkbrenner is a lot of things, but he's not a tough defender. McNeeley has the potential for a big game if he gets back to the 35 minutes per game he was playing before the injury.

2025 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Players To Target In Deep Leagues

Fantasy football sleepers are what make the game fun. There is nothing like landing an absolute stud in the double-digit rounds of your fantasy draft. 2025 Fantasy Football Rookie Sleepers: Late-Round Prospects With Immediate Upside

Players who are thought of as less likely to succeed in the NFL are typically selected later in drafts. Tight end is one of the most important positions in fantasy football, and heading into 2025, the position seems even deeper than it has been in past seasons.
