After a couple of big nights of college basketball, tonight feels like a bit of a snoozer. It's not, but with only two games going on, it feels like it. It may only be two games, but they are two good ones.
We start in State College with Purdue coming to town. The nightcap is another offering from the Big 12 (16)/Big East challenge. Xavier heads down to Fort Worth to take on TCU.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 12/5/24, starting at 6:30 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.
Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Braden Smith, Purdue ($8.7K)

Zach Edey was a lot of things for Purdue, but he also took away from how good Braden Smith is. I've watched Smith enough over the last couple of years to know that he's the best passer in the country. He averages 9.1 assists per game while turning it over 2.5 times per game. He has slashed that to 1.8 over the last five games.
If he were just a passing wizard it would be one thing, but he can also score and rebound. I expect many to flock to Ace Baldwin tonight because of the upside, but I feel Smith's is just as high and he's a few hundred cheaper.
Frankie Collins, TCU ($6.6K)
Collins has gotten more aggressive on offense over the last couple of games. We'll need him to continue that trend if he's going to pay off this price. This is a solid matchup for Collins, but what has me intrigued are his ballooning assist totals. If he can keep the turnovers down, Collins can be a huge DFS asset.
Myles Colvin, Purdue ($4.8K)
Colvin exploded for 20 points in the win over Mississippi in just 24 minutes of court time. This is the exception, but it also marks the second time in the last three games that Colvin has broken into double figures. He's a good defender and active on the glass. With his minutes trending upward, I'm running him in all GPP lineups.
Also consider: Ace Baldwin Jr., Penn State ($9K); Dayvion McKnight, Xavier ($6.9K); Marcus Foster, Xavier ($6K); Noah Reynolds, TCU ($5.5K); Freddie Dilione V, Penn State ($5K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Zach Freemantle, Xavier ($8.4K)
Zach Freemantle missed all of last year and came back as a member of Jelly Fam
— College Basketball Report (@CBKReport) November 19, 2024
If Freemantle can stay healthy all season, he's a Naismith candidate. He's that good. I love the way he plays the game. He contributes across the board and is a constant double-double threat.
Trazarien White, TCU ($6.4K)
White has been cold from the floor for the last couple of games, so he comes at a bit of a discount. He can't stay cold forever. White is a very good defender (you have to be on this team) and active on the boards. If he gets those scoring figures back up, he could be a huge asset in this price range.
Ernest Udeh Jr., TCU ($4.9K)
The Kansas transfer is making a name for himself in Texas. He has at least 20 DraftKings points in all five games that he has played this year. If he ever develops a consistent offensive game, look out!
Also consider: Trey Kaufman-Renn, Purdue ($8.3K); Yanic Konan Niederhauser, Penn State (7.3K); Camden Heide, Purdue ($4.7K); David Punch, TCU ($4K)
