Today's Early DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for the Crown Tournament 4/5/25. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.
I wish DraftKings would have just made this an all-day affair by adding the NCAA Tournament Final Four in with the semifinals of the Crown Tournament. We have four solid teams in this field. Three of them were in serious discussion for an NCAA Tournament bid.
As with the NCAA Tournament games later in the evening, we are past the point of good matchups. Central Florida was a team to attack during the regular season, but they have shored up their defense in the Big 12 (16) Tournament and again in the Crown Tournament.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings for 4/5/25, starting at 1:30 p.m. EDT. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.
Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Darius Johnson, Central Florida ($10.3K)

Johnson's streak of seven straight 20+ point games came to a close against Oregon State on Tuesday, thanks to a painful 4-of-16 performance from the field. A new streak started in the quarterfinals when he exploded for 31 actual points (50.5 DK points). Johnson has the most volume of any player on the slate and therefore has the highest ceiling.
Tyler Hendricks, Central Florida ($3.9K)
Hendricks has entered the transfer portal, but he has elected to use the Crown Tournament as a way to showcase his talents to potential suitors after not seeing much time during the regular season. With Keyshawn Hall sitting out, Hendricks has put up 57.5 DraftKings points in the first two games of this tournament. Lock him in again!
Cale Jacobsen, Nebraska ($3.8K)
Nebraska has to wonder where they would have been if they had started Jacobsen before the Crown Tournament. The Cornhuskers likely would have bowed out in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament instead of making the semifinals like in this tournament, but the dance is the dance.
Jacobsen, returning to the team for the first time since February 16, had some good practices with the team while preparing for Vegas. Good enough to land him a spot in the starting lineup. He has produced 48 DraftKings points in two games. That's a great return for this price!
Also consider: Brice Williams, Nebraska ($10.1K); Wooga Poplar, Villanova ($8.7K); Jhamir Brickus, Villanova ($5.3K); Nils Machowski, Central Florida ($4.1K); Dallan Coleman, Central Florida ($3.7K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Tyson Degenhart, Boise State ($9.4K)
The @BroncoSportsMBB forward reached 2,000 points in the @CBBCrown Quarterfinals, and that's just the beginning of what makes Degenhart a high caliber player ? ⬇️

There is more than enough value to cram a couple of studs on this slate. Degenhart should be one of them. Nebraska will be one of the better defensive teams that Boise has faced this year, but the offense runs through Degenhart -- a rare thing for big men in this era. Degenhart is a tough matchup for anyone because he can shoot from anywhere and is an underrated passer if a shot isn't there.
Moustapha Thiam, Central Florida ($7.4K)
UCF is ravaged by transfers, but the super freshman is sticking around. Thiam has at least 24 DraftKings points in the last 19 games of the season. He survived a rough start to his freshman year and finished strong. I'm not going to bail now, but don't expect a ceiling game against a team like Villanova.
Enoch Boakye, Villanova ($4.4K)
If you can't afford Eric Dixon, Boakye is a great consolation prize in an even better matchup. Boakye has played more minutes in the Crown Tournament than he did in the regular season with strong results. He's still not a scorer (4.3 ppg on the season, 12 in two games in Vegas), but he has been a beast on the boards.
Also consider: Eric Dixon, Villanova ($9.2K); Juwan Gary, Nebraska ($9K); Andrew Meadow, Boise State ($6.5K); Benny Williams, Central Florida ($3.2K)
